Redwood Canyon Golf Course
Played On 12/31/2020Good value they need to work on customer service
I’ve played there two times in the last couple of months and the morning guy behind the desk has been a jerk both times. I have been playing gold for 35 years and I’ve never been treated or complained about treatment at any course. There’s a first for everything. He told me to book direct because it will save money. Don’t do it. Willow park has a 48hour cancellation policy and zero tolerance. My friend came down with a fever and dropped out the morning of and golf now worked it out so we didn’t have to pay for a dead round. I ate a green fee on thanksgiving day because only 7 of our eight in the group were able to play. Eating the green fee was not the problem. It was the pleasure he got out of being a jerk.

The course is in good condition. They have done a lot to keep the fairways nice and the greens rolling true. Way better than years past.

The course is in great shape. Need to play before it starts raining. Greens are in good shape and the fairways are rolling nice as well. Playing golf in December has never been better at this course.
Redwood Canyon Golf Course
Played On 11/03/2017Fill Cart Seed and Sand
I play here several times a year. They have seed and sand containers on the carts yet they are never filled. Course is getting better. they just put down new sod on the first hole. Very nice.
Canyon Lakes Golf Course & Brewery
Played On 08/10/2016Excellent pace of play
Greens are in excellent condition. Course is a bit dry so the ball will roll a long way especially if you are on the edge of the fairway, not always a good thing. Played as a 3 some and finished in about 3.5 hours. Never ran into anyone the entire day and had a couple of singles play through. Bunker sand is poor at best. Looks like they have replaced several bunkers and are working on several more but most sand is thin and heavy to say the least.
Lake Chabot Golf Course - The 18 Hole Course
Played On 11/22/2015Sunday slow round
Tee time before noon and still unable to finish before dark. Slowest round I've played in a long time. Waited on every single tee. No marshals could be a reason for slow play although I didn't seen any obvious gaps in font of us. I'll wait another ten years before going back.
Eagle Vines Golf Club
Played On 05/10/2015Outstanding greens
Played 5/10/15. Shot placement is key on the greens. Most greens have 2-3 different levels if you are on the wrong one two putting will be a challenge. Seems to have plenty of water, the fairways were all in great condition and all of the waterfalls and lakes were full and flowing. Restaurant has a great view and very good food. i have played Eagle Vines before and was not as impressed with the conditions. The course is in the best shape I've seen in the last couple of years. We'll see how it hold up through summer.
Merlot/Chardonnay at Poppy Ridge Golf Course
Played On 05/01/2015Poppy Ridge
Course was in great shape. Fairways and greens in great condition. Not suffering from drought as of 5/1/2015. Very challenging especially from back tees in the afternoon. Greens rolled true all day. My friend Dan U shot a 74 from the tips for his best round at this course to date. Unstoppable.
The Bridges Golf Club
Played On 07/30/2014Beware the great deal
Super low price for afternoon round. Low price was due to aeration of greens. Check before you book. Course was in great condition. Very green and lush throughout the course. No water shortage here! This course is a must play if you like a challenge. Bring lots of balls, target golf is a must with the tight fairways and difficult greens. Pro shop staff is excellent. Can't wait to play again once the greens are healed.
