Excellent course for medium to advanced golfers. Not a lot of up and down although 6,12 and 14 are challenging for a golfer who isn't the longest off the tee. Hole 13 goes straight towards Coronado Beach with 14 and 15 parallel to the ocean, separated by sand dunes. Over all a really enjoyable round of golf. With San Diego's weather, there is a constant light breeze coming straight off the ocean so it's not that uncomfortable. Keep in mind the course is on Naval Air Station North Island so is open to the public only if you are a guest of an authorized patron.
