No green tee markers yet the score card still reflects them. Either put the green tee markers back on the tees or get new scorecards. Fairways are horrible. Why is it I’m in the middle of the fairway and there’s no grass?
Why is it so hard to grow grass? The greens were pretty good but really bumpy. I wonder if they ever roll them?
Pace of play was not very good. This course will never be worth more than $25. Just telling the truth!

I don’t know what to think of this course anymore. Is it lack of management, effort or is it lack of money? This course has already raised the prices because it’s after 15 Oct and they’re ready for charging the snowbirds more money but the course is still in lousy condition. The greens are okay but nothing to be proud of. All the fairways are missing grass and there are no good lies. I don’t know what moron decided to disk the fairways 3 months ago but they’ve never healed. You can still see all the lines in the fairways and all the bare spots. It’s not hard to grow grass in Florida so I just don’t understand why this course is in such poor condition. Today on hole #2 there was a worker trimming the palm trees. While I was on the tee box this guy just sat on the ground and had a telephone conversation while the Stihl 4 stroke hedge trimmer lay there running. Do yourself a favor, get rid of all the lazy workers that just milk their jobs! I know you have a new energetic Superintendent that wants to improve the course but does he have any control over these contracted workers that are lazy?
Oh by the way, I didn’t appreciate the starter meeting me at the ice fountain and rushing me to go to the #1 tee box. I showed up for my tee time (1057) 20 minutes ahead of time and I never checked in. The starter comes over to rush me and say I paired you with the group now on the tee. He said he would check me in and I never got to roll a couple of balls on the practice green. As it turns out, the couple already left the tee and the course had the Ladies league in front of us, so I just don’t know why this starter was rushing me when it was slow anyway. This starter seems to do whatever he wants to do.
Lastly, if this course can’t improve, it’s not even worth the $25 I paid to play. Asking for a friend; what happened to the green tee markers? They look like they’ve eliminated them, yet the score card still has them listed😳

Course is in great shape! Many improvements have been made to the course including keeping carts away from many areas to improve grass growth. Fairways and greens are great!
The staff is very friendly. Even the cart guy Tony was very friendly!

Greens were in great condition and rolled true. Fairways should be watered more often and possibly consider letting grass grow longer so they sun doesn’t bake them. Overall a great layout and fun course to play from the Blue tees.

Greens are fast and soft. The course is in good shape for this dry time of year. Pace of play was slow on the front 9. Overall great tough course to play from blue tees⛳️

26 broken carts in cart barn and that’s probably why they ran out of carts. Got a ride on a cart 5 minutes before my tee time. Golf course is only a 2 rating out of 5. Do yourself a favor, take your money and go play somewhere else! Whoever takes care of this course should be fired! I can speak from experience, I have 2 brothers that are GC Superintendents and have worked for both of them at their respective courses. It’s obvious there’s really no daily, monthly or yearly plan to make this course better! They only do the bare minimum and in many places, they don’t even do that! Every sand trap and tee box on course needs immediate attention! Some greens are better than others. Also, your concept of just throwing tie grass seen on tees and greens is just not working out for you! I’m really surprised all the people who live on this course and pay membership fees continually allow your course to fall in such disrepair!

Course is in overall great shape! Sand traps could use some help. I wish the ruff had different levels of thickness. Just barely off the fairways and spent way too much time looking for the golf ball. I really appreciate the level of maintenance to make this course in great condition. My thanks to the Pro Shop, Starter, and Golf Course Superintend it. Thank you for letting me visit and play golf on this great Ron Gael design course!

The course was in great condition. The greens were smooth and fast! The Superintendent is doing a great job keeping this course in fine condition. The Pro Shop staff, the cart guys and the beverage girl are doing a great job to ensure you have a pleasant experience!

Really disappointed today. Why does the maintenance staff cut the fairways so close that there’s not much grass? I play the ball as it lies and many shots inside the fairways make it so hard to score. The greens were okay. Very happy I found a $25 Hot Deal! Some people were paying $50. I mean it’s really sad to be in the middle of fairway or next to green having a lie that’s on dirt. Sure wish slow golfers would learn to waive single players past them!

I play many golf courses and Fox Hollow is much better than any course in Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsboro and Hernando counties! This is a player’s course and it is maintained in outstanding condition⛳️

So sad to see this CHAMPIONSHIP course in this condition! The GC maintenance staff better get their tails in gear before they lose this course. At LEAST one third of the fairways are really unplayable. Yes, they’re now roped off to prevent carts from entering, When the Lake’s on the course have plenty of water in them, and yet they’ve allowed the fairways to become so dry and so bare and it’s only May. This course may burn up before we really get into the hottest time of the year. The greens are pretty good and I appreciate fast smooth greens. But come on man, how can you attract new members or retain current members when the fairways get to this condition?

Now keep in mind, we’ve had a warm winter with not much rainfall. Tees were average, fairways were great, and greens were great! The staff was very friendly and I felt very safe with proper social distancing. Recommend this course, it has a great layout. Also, a course employee came around to make sure everything and everyone was good. Thank you!

My round started with great customer service from Todd in the Pro Shop! He introduced himself to me and welcomed me to the course. After he found out it was my first time, he took me outside and showed me where the carts were, 1st and 10th tees, putting greens and practice area. I was on my way. I played the Blue tees and I believe the yardage was about 6300 and I shot an 80. The design of the course is a links style with many elevation changes and rolling hills. The condition of the tees, fairways and greens were excellent! Even though they haven’t had any rain, there were still great lies in the fairways. Probably the best fairways out of Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough and Hernando counties! The greens were a little slow, but very challenging due to the slope. First time playing and I’ve played over 209 rounds of golf in two years. For a Monday with a 12:36 tee time, I had no issues with “social distancing”. Please consider playing Sherman Hills, and having a good round of golf!

BCC is an outstanding golf course. The golf pro there is very customer focused. Please take time to play one of the finest courses in Florida!

The greens were rolling great! They were stimped at 10. I really enjoy great greens and this course has them! Great course conditions, thank you!
