Friendly staff. Price great during the week but perhaps a little high for the weekend in the summer.
Fairways and greens are well maintained but weeds and dirt patches around the green made chipping an issue

really good value. We played at 2 and they let us go off on 10. By the time we got back to number one, we had the course to myself. Very friendly staff.greens are true and fairway was in good condition even though part of it was being aerated.
Guacamole and beer afterwards we're very good.

The rough is cut way too short. Anything not on The Fairway is in danger of going into water or other hazard

Course is in great condition, but McCormick rough eats balls. More likely to find someone else's lost ball than your own if you miss the fairway by more than a yard or two.
Maybe not a problem for most of you, but I'm a hacker, happy to score in double digits

Staff was friendly. Greens and fairways good. 1st cut of rough swallows golf balls. Losing a ball struck well.
Took 8 holes of play to see the refreshment cart.
Was looking forward to the famous McCormack hot dog at the turn, only to find that management felt it wasn't cost effective to keep the hot dog hut open.
One of the group walked off the course after 10 holes.

For a course that seems to want to improve its image in the valley, Orange Tree could do a better job. Staff was very friendly but not always available. Main issues are slow uneven greens and way too many bald spots and patches in the fairways.
The GPS on the carts was spot on and easy to use.

Last year played Starfire dozen times. It had been overgrown with weeds. First visit there this year June 2 was a pleasant surprise. Fairways cleared of all the weeds and no bare spots. Most importantly, the greens were pristene. I say this after a terrible day with the flat stick.
