Great Christmas day family golf outing

Friendly staff, quick in and out. Great course condition even after raining for several days the fairway is not muddy at all, the green is smooth and speed is consistent. Overall a great course to play on Christmas day.

Slow play

Arrived at the course before t-time to find there are no Carts available (charging), waited 15 minutes after t-time to finally get our cart, and the starter told us the entire course is about 45 minutes behind schedule.

During the play, I can see a couple of groups in front of us is playing extremely slow, I can clearly see they are one hole behind and I don't see course marshal to try to speed up the pace.

we have played this course many times before, today is the worse I have ever experienced.

A good round for weekend golfer

We've played Morongo Legend and Champion before and liked these two courses.

My regular 4-sum think the Champion is a bit more challenging than Legend on and around the green, most green are well protected by steep bunkers.

Today was a bit windy and the approaches are more difficult, takes more time to finish up the hole, hence more waiting for each shot for everybody.

Fairway and green are in excellent condition, the keeper did an excellent job trimming the trees and bushes to reduces some of the blind-shot holes.

overall a good round.

Easily can be a 6 and half hour round

Booked Redhawk via Golfnow for playing Saturday 12:28. After checked in, found out no golf carts available, waited for one poor guy running back and fourth delivering one golf cart at a time from the storage/charging shack.

Finally tee off to find out every hole have aleast 2 teams (some times 4 teams) in front of us, this was the most painful golf experience in my 30+ years of playing.

The course was beautiful and conditions are decent, but the pace was brutally slow and we didn't see any course marshall to manage the pace.

After 5 hour and 20 minutes just finished 15th hole, we saw 4 teams queued up in front of us, that it, we ran out of our patience and call it quits.

We might come back again because of the beautiful course setup, but definitely not on the weekends.

We thank you for your honest feedback and we're really happy to hear you enjoyed the course and the scenery. We do regret to hear the pace of play was slower than usual, we understand that this could be quite a frustrating experience when you are trying to enjoy a smooth round. Come back and see us, we want to make sure you love your round.

Great value for a challenging public course

For a public course, Mesa Linda is a friendly, economic and yet challenging course. Not the long distance but the green and pin placement you'll need to watch out for.

Great green condition, and fairway conditions are good to fair, outside of the fairway you'll need some luck, bald area, long crab grass, and mud puddles may post you off but for the price I learned to deal with it.

I tend to avoid playing on weekends after 9:00am as the pace may be slower than you like, weekdays or early morning on the weekends the pace is smooth.

Overall great municipal course.
