The Golf Club at Rancho California

Had not played this course for a few years, enjoyed the re-visit. Greens were in excellent condition, some of the rough was punitive, fairways were very good. Overall a nice outing.

This was my first round back after complete Left Knee replacement 80 days ago… decided to play here with my neighbor because of location and some familiarity with the lay out. Course in overall good shape and pace of play was very good. I / we will return again soon.
Desert Dunes Golf Course

Course was in good shape, considering it’s summer desert conditions. Fairways in the center were fine, some of the sides were a bit sparse. Greens were good.
Played as a twosome in about 3 hours 15 minutes.

Played by myself, fast pace under three hours. Course wide open with changes in the layout since the last time I played several years ago. Pro-shop closed, check-in located in the bar / restaurant area. Not a problem however. Greens in good shape.

Overall nice course, Greens held everything coming in. They are currently working on filling the traps ( which could use the new sand ). Liked the openness and layout!, will play again.

From the tips was a bit of a test, but fair... wide open fairways, few dry patch areas if you get off the fairway, greens were good. Great Mountain View’s.
