Great but slow

The course allows fivesomes and does not use marshals. 5 hour rounds are the norm every day. The back nine is great. The front nine is average. It’s very well maintained.

Afternoon Golf

I snuck out and played 9 holes on a weekday afternoon. It took about 2 hours as lots of other folks had same idea. Course is in good condition overall. Greens are still a bit sandy and slow. Bunkers are wet and firm. They have a small club house with about four beers on tap. Its a great winter value if you arrive on a nice day. The only draw back is that singles cannot make a tee time. We have to walk-on and take our chances.

Tough course

This course was a lot tougher than anticipated. The greens are large and have lots of slope but still very slow. Fairways are in very good shape. No beverage cart.

Course in Rehab

Course has still not recovered from a really bad summer two years ago. Most of the fairways are very thin. Greens range from good (#18) to sad. This is the reason why its cheap and easy to book.

The course has a interesting layout, but you really need a golf cart. Its not a walking friendly. It played really slow for a midweek twilight round. They did have a beverage cart!

Resort type golf

Really wide fairways, huge greens and sneaky hazards are standard for this course. It’s a tough course if you are a first timer. No yardage books or even a basic layout is provided. Bring your Fancy watch. Played in the afternoon as a twosome. We finished in a little over 3 hours. They don’t provide ice and water with the cart so flag down the beverage cart ASAP. It’s really hot down here.

Cow pasture with challenging greens

The course is short but throws in a lot of elevation changes to make things interesting. Both tee boxes and greens are elevated. Small creeks are used to protect the greens. The greens are generally fast and have a lot of undulations. The fairway conditions run from mediocre to terrible. We (2some) teed off early on Sunday morning and finished in less than 4 hours.
