The only reason I gave the overall condition of the course a four-star instead of five was it I’m going construction. We were not advised of this prior to the round. The course is putting money back into the course and it should be beautiful starting in the spring of 2021. We enjoyed our round and can’t wait for our next round there.

Course is rock hard, but beautiful fairways. Greens are crowned does not reward good shots. Still, a gorgeous course and layout. Greens were running 13 or 14 on the meter when we played. Lots of construction ongoing of the course. Putting in 8 foot wide cart paths around most of the greens. It’s going to be beautiful when completed. Does not take away from playability of course.Will be back.

I love playing this course whenever I can pass through Reading Pennsylvania. It is a fantastic short course layout. They have recently gone through some hard times with flooding wind storms trees down but all in all it is and quite playable condition. I would recommend this course to anybody in the area it is a joy to play.

We showed up 1/2 hour early for our 10:50 AM round. We found the pro shop closed and locked. No answer at telephone. Another couple showed up also had a 1050 teatime. Waited around until 1110 and left. Very poor planning, supervision. Golf now needs to have a serious talk with the staff of this facility. Blair Academy course.
