Deer Ridge Golf Club
Played On 03/13/2016GET YOUR GREENS RIGHT!
Im a former superintendent and love your golf course. Nothing like it for miles around. The layout is superb and from tee to green it's very playable for all skill levels. Over the past couple of years though the green conditions have been sub-par. Because of the excessive undulation in the greens, the ball really needs to roll a lot truer to it's line. More topdressing and the occasional verticut would take care of this problem. A spring/fall aeration for the next couple of years would really help the ball react better on the greens especially when chipping and hitting short wedge shots. The easier you can make the greens for the mid/high handicapper the more frequent they will return.

Not good. Clueless staff. Cow Pasture. Greens weren't half bad for the rain, but everything else just not good!
Little Apple Golf Club

Great course with 10 par 4's and 8 par 3's. Par 4's are all driveable from the whites but risk/reward plays on all tee shots. Blue tees make this course much more difficult and a true test of iron play. Greens roll better than most public courses you will play in the area. Recommend for all skill levels.
Chapel Hill Golf Course
Played On 05/10/2015Holy Weed Control!
I've been playing Chapel for 15 years or better. 1st time playing this spring and I must say I'm really disappointed in the overall course conditions. Front nine greens were unbelievably firm while the back nine was complete opposite. Rough hasn't been mowed in at least 4 to 5 days. Way too many weeds on the course. Need to get someone who can weed eat everything! The only thing that made the round worth while was I only paid $20 to play. I love this course but there is absolutely no excuse why a number of certain maintenance practices were not being done.
