The greens are in terrible condition, bumpy and very slow. I won't play here again.

I played as a guest and had a superb time. The course is in wonderful shape and the greens are fast running at 12 on the stimp meter so bring your A game. Practice facilities are excellent with driving range, great putting and chipping areas and bunkers. One of the best courses I've played in Sarasota.

The greens have been rebuilt with tiff eagle grass and are faster then in the past. The fairways are also in great shape. The white tees play at 6400 yards and can be a challenge for those who do not hit long drives. The forward tees play to 5850 yards. Wide fairways but water comes into play on some holes. The 17th is a carry over a small lake and plays to 400 yards with a well bunkered green - probably the most difficult hole as it is a par 4 at 400 yards. If you bite off too much of the dogleg you'll be wet!

All in all an enjoyable course and as a single I have no problems getting on. The only downside as a single is that I get teamed up with inexperienced golfers which slows down my pace of play (I like to play 18 in 3 1/2 hrs).
