Considering how expensive golf has become, Dos Lagos offers a decent quality course for a great rate. The layout itself is fun and interesting. Fairways were very good for a low cost course and staff is extremely friendly. The only concern on quality were the tee boxes and some of the greens were pretty beat up, but outside of that a fun course to play. Pace of play on a Friday was very good (just over 4 hours) but on weekends expect 5 + hours

Jurupa Hills is almost an hour away but it was worth the drive. The course was in really good shape with grass in the fairway and nicely manicured greens. The bunkers looked ok and fortunately I avoided them. Compared to other courses in the area I wasn't expecting it to be in this kind of condition so was a pleasant surprise. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would say is come prepared to go out with snacks and drinks as they don't have a cart girl. They have a small Cafe which is convenient to golfers.

I picked Wildhorse this time (live in SoCal but play in Vegas a few times a year) to see if I could find a fairly well maintained course in Vegas for under $ 100. The staff was very friendly and for the most part the course layout isn't too difficult but the conditions were just ok. The practice area is nice but there was no grass left in the hitting areas. On the course, fairways are pretty bare, so it wasn't often you would get a nice lie. The roll out on drives was nice but that was about it.
The greens were so-so. Some diseased areas and rolling slow. Bunkers were hard. So conditions not great but staff was friendly and overall was ok experience, but if you want nice fairways and greens you should try elsewhere.

I've played Eagle Glen many times and the fairways are always brown and tight. Even with all the rain we've had recently. That being said, greens are always nice and it's an interesting track. Staff is very friendly and for me this particular round was pretty inexpensive. I wouldn't recommend it if you are trying to impress someone from out of town, but it's fun for locals.

I've played Hidden Valley many times over the years. I hadn't played there in 6 months and I was happy to see that the course was in great shape today. Fairway grass was green and well maintained. Greens good also. This is a really beautiful course to play just because of the unique scenery and elevations. It's not an easy course by any means, but if you can keep the ball in front of you it can be a lot of fun.
All in all it's a really unique golf course and one I recommend if you are a decent player. I don't know if I would recommend this course for less experienced golfers just because of the degree of difficulty

I've played this course many times over the years. It's a nice track and I always enjoy playing there. They are doing some renovations right now so be aware that the driving range is closed! It would have been nice to know that before I arrived but they don't mention that on their website. Overall the course is in good shape for the price (Greens were the best) and the pace was good for a weekend round. The 18th tee box is one of the highest in the country and is a unique experience that I highly recommend

This was my first time playing Cross Creek. I had read the reviews that it's a tough course, and as a bogey golfer that worried me a bit. I ended up playing with 2 regulars who knew the course really well, and that helped. Overall I found the course to be a fun play and in good condition. Some of the greens are fast, but I've played worse. There are really only a few trouble holes where the actual fairway layout could be a problem for average golfers. Most of the holes seemed fair and it is pretty playing out amongst the vineyards.
The only bad thing I would say is the pace. Don't come here if you can't handle a 5 plus hour round. Even during weekdays the regulars say it is a slow play. The course people said it's just because they have too many playing, but that of course is because they are not putting in enough time between tee times. It's greed, and unfortunately the golfer pays the price.
The course is quite far for me to drive to but I would play it again as a meet up course, as long as I have a full day to blow.

This is an older course and definitely not elite in any way but its very pretty and I've always enjoyed playing there. Unfortunately the rains have really messed up the course and you can currently only play 16 holes. The course website doesnt mention that so I was surprised to find that out when I got there. Greens were very rough on the front 9 and the rough is quite patchy, so I would recommend skipping this course until they have time to repair it.

I played as a single by myself on a Saturday and ended up playing alone because it wasn't busy. On a Saturday! I can't say it's usually like that, but it was awesome. The staff greets you and gives you a cart immediately. They gave ne a complimentary warm up bucket, the practice range is good and they always have a bunch of balls around the chipping area for you to use. The course, fairways and greens are consistently in better shape than most courses I play, including those that are more expensive. It's an enjoyable track with some truly amazing views (18th tee shouldn't be missed) and it's a course that you can score well on. Highly recommend it, although I would hate to see TOO many people come out there.

Shorecliffs is definitely not one of your high level golf facilities, but if you are looking to save some money and enjoy a quirky old course with personality, than this is a good place to do it. The fairways, although not pristine, were better than I expected. I never had to hit off of hard pan at any point in the round. Greens were all real good. The course itself has a few really challenging narrow fairways where you really have to thread the needle, but outside of that I found it very playable for me as a 20 handicap golfer. The only beef with the round yesterday was the speed, it took about 5 hours and 20 minutes. When I questioned the marshal he said it was just a busy Saturday. Hmmm, OK. I would go back again though, especially for the value.

I've always like Black Gold, but this round reminded me how challenging it is unless you are a very skilled golfer. The course is rarely flat anywhere, so lies are always a challenge, and the greens are like putting on ice. I've never described greens as "slick" before, but these are for some reason, and there are many greens where your ball will roll off if you don't land it in exactly the right spot. This is a pretty course, but if you get frustrated easily don't play it.
