I've played this course several times and I enjoy it more each time I go back. Layout is challenging but fair. It's obvious that they care about course conditions, greens are the best I've seen them. I will definitely be back!

We stopped here on the way to a conference in Charlotte and were very pleased. Course was in great shape, staff was very friendly, pace was great and course was very fair for a couple middle aged hacks from the white tees. Will definitely be back if I get the chance!

Staff always very welcoming, Lakemont is tougher than Stonemont, although this trip the greens were a little spotty on some holes. I prefer that my game be sharp when playing this course as there is water in play on many holes and strategy is important on many "land" holes as well.

Nothing fancy, either in the clubhouse or on the course, but conditions are usually good and rarely encounter slow play here. Lack of driving range hurts a bit and you tend to feel the "residential" aspect a little more than I like, but I always enjoy playing here.
