You still can see miner hole indentation on the green post aerification few weeks back. Fairway is in good shape especially in this July heat. Overall great value for the $ as this is one of my favorite public course in the valley.

Course had its green aerated recently so you will see slight makings on the green. It puts straight with variable speed on the green. Fairway is in good shape and sand bunkers have decent amount of sand (unlike other desert course). Good value for the $.

Perfect day ... pace of play was good. Course is in good condition with fast green. Definitely one of my favorite courses in the Gold Canyon area.

Good layout, not too difficult – unlike Ak-Chin Southern Dunes which is unforgiving if you are not accurate. Hole 18 fairway needs repair. Some greens are bit slow. Overall, it is a nice neighborhood course.

Layout is very nice; if you are comfortable playing with water hazards on almost every hole, you are good as it is not very difficult. The fair way condition is another matter as many holes have raw patches around the green. For this price, I would go elsewhere until ground condition improves significantly. Finally pace of play was slow even on mid Friday morning.

Cart-path only due to recent over-seeding. Course is in good condition as green is in good shape. Will play again.

Comparing to other courses in the Tampa Bay area, Wenthworth course is narrow and tight - a challenging course vs. Brooksville Country Club, for example. Two par 3 courses will definitely stress your iron skills as they are long and narrow with limited visibility. Several greens, in the first 9 holes, are narrow so limited room for error. Overall a fun course to play but pace could be slow if you are playing on the weekends.

Good neighborhood course with decent conditions. Hole 13 and 18 are challenging. Most holes are not very wild so hit them straight. If you can catch a Hot Deal, it is a good value.

This is your typical neighborhood golf course. Green and fair ways are in good shape. Overall the course is not difficult comparing to Heritage Isles or Pebble Creeks, for example, as it is not as narrow with limited hazards. It is only six miles away from Brooksville and for few bucks more you can play at a much better course with outstanding holes, (e.g, 12, 13 and 17). I would not recommend paying the full price for this course. For that kind of $, I recommend Brooksville Country Club.

Most of the holes are straight with almost no water hazards. Holes #12, 13 and 17 are a lot of fun. #12 can be approached via 2 different directions - a fun hole to play. Hole #13 has the best view and a challenging hole: narrow approach and up hill green.

Course is in good shape & a great value for the price. Definitely a recommendation if you live in the Tampa area.

Excellent value for the price as the course is scenic and in good shape. Staff was friendly. The GPS cart helps for someone new to the course. A must try.
