What a treat this course was! Well worth the drive from Jax. So nice to see elevation changes compared to the flat courses in my area. This course is in a very nice neighborhood and definitely has a country club feel with southern charm.

The layout feels pretty wide open from the tees, with generous fairways. Not much water in play, but many bunkers and elevation changes are the primary defense on this course. I will definitely be back!

Our league played here today and it is in much better condition than the previous reviews mentioned. The tee boxes could use some new sod, but everything else was in good condition. Very cool design, shot making strategy is required on many holes. The GPS system in the carts really helps navigate this track. The staff was amazing too! This course is a must play on the “Forgotten Coast”!

Superb conditions and weather for our Miami adventure. I played the Red and Silver courses this trip. Red was easier of the two with its 6x6x6 layout of par 3, 4, and 5’s. Both courses were in perfect condition and probably had THE BEST greens I’ve ever played. To top it off they offer a $50 military rate M-Th in the off season. Pro shop staff was super friendly and helpful for my wife’s shopping needs. Really only negative is that you have to pay for parking, but don’t let that stop you from playing at this facility!

Many recent reviews have discussed the demise of OPCC. Friend of mine said they said they closed.

Got a great deal as a single on GolfNow for the first tee time at 7am on a Saturday! I really enjoyed this course. Considering all the rain this season, it was very playable. Greens were slower than I like, but they are in great shape. Fun layout with no houses in site. It’s just as good as the Disney courses at a better price.

New construction on the Disney roads caused some delays and wrong turns, so plan for more time than your GPS tells you. Once you get there, everything is top quality! The course is in fantastic shape and if you can get the GolfNow $39 price, it’s the best deal in town! There is plenty of water on the course, but ample landing areas. The carts have touch screen GPS so you can plan your shot to the landing zone. This course is playable for all skill levels with only a few forced carries. A good layout for the ladies too. We look forward to coming back!

After reading other reviews about tight and sloping fairways and many hazards, I played the strategy card for course management. I hit mostly 3 woods off the tee and used my GolfNow GPS to navigate to the landing zones and had a very good round. Some of the fairways have a links feel with mounds, and like the other reviews stated, shots will run off into the water or woods. That being said, it will definitely slow play when so many players are searching for balls. From tee to green this course offers a challenge to every level of player and is worth a visit.

Scenic layout with elevation changes. Recent rains really made it green again, but also kept the mowers out of the rough. Stay out of the deep stuff and this course plays fair and fun. Greens are in good shape. No issues at all on this Saturday morning with pace of play, hardly anyone else out there. I look forward to playing the course again!

You can tell this is a PB Dye design as you really have to plan your way around this course. Tee shots are pretty open, just avoid any bunkers. The real challenge comes on approach shots to mostly elevated greens. You must know your yardages and pin locations otherwise you face tricky up and downs. There are many blind bunkers waiting to eat stray shots! If you're looking to test your game, this is a good choice. Good looking club house and restaurant plus a friendly staff. They also offer a lunch special with your green fee.

Nice to play a classic traditional style parkland layout (not a housing track). This 1922 design has hosted PGA tour events in the 1950's; Snead and Hogan are among the greats who have played here. We had an afternoon tee time so our day started with lunch (try the philly cheese steak). Friendly staff in both the restaurant and pro shop.

I enjoyed the layout of the course and it is in good condition. Looks like it gets plenty of play as most bunkers had footprints...which is clearly the fault of the players! Here's a tip people, leave the course better than you found it; repair ball marks, fill divots, and rake the bunkers. If you can't handle that, stay home.

Course is in nice shape. Has brand new carts. Bunkers need some work to fix ruts caused by rain, but my advice is stay out of them altogether. Kudos to the cart girl, we probably saw her every 3 or 4 holes. Plenty of cold water in the jugs too. Well done Eagle Dunes!

By far the most elevation changes in this area. Difficult layout for a first timer, you need several rounds to master this track. Missing the fairway will cost you dearly! The second cut was 6-12 inches deep! Many blind shots and tricky greens. If you're looking for a challenge, this is it.

Nice layout in a pretty remote location. Facility is in good shape, newer carts and friendly staff. Greens are in good shape, but very slow. My biggest complaint is that there are no water jugs on this course, which is unacceptable in the Florida heat. There was water in the clubhouse at the turn, but then it was closed by 5 pm when our round was over. It's a simple fix to buy some jugs to have fresh water available and then your customer service ratings will improve.

Great design! Reminded me of Pinehurst area, not typical FL track. Great character to this design with the greens and bunkering. This is my new favorite course in this area!

Pretty wide open, beach style course with very few trees in play. Probably plays much harder when the wind blows. Take the time to drive out here, play in the morning and hit the beach afterwards.

Some of the nicest greens I've played this season! Fast and true even first thing in the AM. Back nine can be tight if your driver is not under control.
