If I’m correct they are 2 weeks out from aeration. I guess I timed it correctly. The greens are in great condition, rolled really smooth. I’ve played here before, but always a couple of days before aeration. Enjoyed and will be back!

Got there early, so no rush. Staff was great! Course was in great condition, greens rolled good, speed of greens were good. I’ve noticed some people complain about carts lacking GPS, it was designed that way. Only thing that bothered me was the snack bar. I got a ham and cheese sandwich and determined that it was only HALF A SANDWICH. 2 pieces of bread, meat and cheese. Not cool to pay $13 for that and a diet drink.

Wanted to play “off the island “ courses this trip and this was my first stop. Staff was great from the moment I arrived. Speed of play was under 4 hours and a lot of the greens had bare spots on them and were on the slow side. I shall return! Thanks

I knew that I was booking this reservation one day prior to overseed. The greens, IMO, were a little slow and I could be aggressive. I’ve visited here numerous times and was excited to finally play this course. Staff was great! I’ll be back!!

There is a few quirky holes with blind shots, but most are straight forward. I recommend playing your tee ball to the 150 markers and go from there. Carts have no GPS, so be prepared for that. There wasn’t any beverage carts (possibly due to weekday round) and the water stations had nothing.
Some tee boxes need attention. Greens are some of the best I’ve seen recently in the DFW area.
Relatively short course from the blues, but definitely target golf. Check out the 140 slope rating. I will be back!!!!

Buy your drinks before the round and at the turn before you play here. Glad I got me something prior to the round. I was told there’s only service on the weekends.
Staff was helpful. Course was in good condition. Greens rolled good and speed was consistent throughout the course. Range balls were some kind of rocks. Maintenance crews were working on bunkers and adding sand.
Pace of play was right at 4 hours.

Would have preferred to see the beverage cart before hole number 10. Water stations were great, just needed something else.

Only issue I had was the frequency of seeing the beverage cart. We teed off at 12 o’clock and didn’t see the cart until hole number 10. They did have water stations which was helpful, but I needed something else.
Course conditions were great! Green rolled good and speed was consistent throughout. Yes, I found the bunkers, several times and they had been well cared for. Staff was great and so was the beverage cart lady (when I saw her).

Course is in great shape! Your driver better be on point, otherwise it’ll be a long day. Definitely a challenging course. Water stations are a plus, and for those who need other items the beverage carts are there.

When I booked my tee time every review was favorable. The day before my scheduled golf day, the reviews warned about the greens and the surrounding fringes. Lots of small brown areas of dead grass were dotted throughout the greens. The fringes were full of weeds and just plain old dirt.
The staff was great and that’s what bumped their overall rating up. I will return and hopefully the course conditions will have improved.

First timer here, but it won’t be my last! Course was in great condition. Greens were firm and fast. One of the longer courses than I am used to be it was a challenge that I really enjoyed.

Staff was friendly. Beverage cart came around on hole 2, didn’t see again until hole 10. I apparently missed the fact there was no gps in the carts, no worries I have an app on my iPhone. Greens were rock hard, but rolling good. I prefer racks in the bunkers, not that people ahead will actually use them. Note.... other courses have them. Fairways were soggy in some areas. Pace of play was 4 hours, so not bad. It’s a course for all types of golfers. Overall, it’s not a bad course, maybe my expectations were higher.

Green fee and cart after 3pm was $20 total. Tee box markers haven't been moved in weeks. Greens were extremely small, slow, and pins haven't been moved in a while. Needs watering in a major way! I couldn't get any approach shot to hold the green. This was my first course where there weren't any traps. A lot irons from the tees and blind shots are required.

I grew up on this course and it's where I learned to play. I went to play there on 5-2-2016 and the course was closed for renovations. They aren't scheduled to re-open until Sept. 2016. All of the greens and tee boxes are being completely renovated. I'll update once it's re-opened.
