Glacier View Golf Club
Played On 09/28/2022Sanded and punched greens
We played this course a few weeks ago and the greens had been sanded, so it was very tough to putt as your ball would be completed sandy on the first green shot. We waited a couple weeks to play it again and found that it now was not only sanded, but the greens had now been punched as well. We started about 11:00 so it was still a little wet on the greens and it did help the sand problem as the day got warmer, but on the back nine, on some greens the punches were still laying on the green. I don't know if GolfNow could put something on their website about green condition, but it certainly would have made a difference in our decision to drive 45 minutes to play this course.
Championship at Buffalo Hill Golf Club
Played On 09/09/2018They need a marshall
We love Buffalo Hill Golf Course, BUT found out that playing on a Sunday afternoon in September will be very slow play. We played a foursome behind a twosome and waited on every shot. They finally dropped off and then we played behind three other foursomes the rest of the round. On hole number 10 there were four groups. We really got tired of waiting, but finished out the round just before it got too dark to see. Play was WAY too slow

Played On 10/25/2017too much desert
We knew that course had "desert" between the t boxes and the greens, but right now it is "cart path only" and we did not know how difficult that would make the round. To top it off there was a twosome behind us that was not adhearing to this rule. They also gave them two carts for two people which made their play faster than ours. We could have let them play through, but we played the front nine in an hour, so did not feel like we were holding them up at all. The biggest issue that I had with this course is that they did not have any markings for distance on or near the cart paths, which is where we were supposed to stay. We did not have a GPS or good range finder, so found it very difficult to take the right clubs when we headed to our balls. They had in ground markers for 150 and 100 yard distances only, in the middle of the fairway, so no way to see it from the "cart path" (said loosely). Also, they had put some kind of fertilizer on the greens that totally did not agree with me and my eyes were streaming by the end of nine. When I asked about this in the pro shop they knew nothing about it, but the marshal said that they had an outside company fertilize and did not know what they had used. This did make me feel comfortable at all about the course!! I would never play here again.
