Painted Mountain Golf Club
Played On 10/14/2018Fun little track
This was my first time playing here - I was impressed with the course and it was in pretty good shape considering the time of year (over-seeding)
Cart path only would be my only gripe - but thats universal for every course I play.
I'll be back!
Longbow Golf Club
Played On 10/13/2018Great Course - too pricey for conditions
This was my second time playing this course - I LOVE the layout of this course and the diversity of the holes. 500-600+yd Par5s and some difficult but short par 3s.
It was downpour rain that day which is not their fault, but considering they were closing the next day to over-seed, and the course had already been scalped, $75 is way too much to play on wet dirt and dead grass.
I'll be back but most likely in the summer when prices drop. Not worth spending $100+ in the fall/winter/spring.
Lone Tree Golf Club
Played On 08/04/2018One of my favorites
Lone Tree is one of my favorite courses especially when it’s in good shape. Even though they punched a few weeks ago, it was in great condition. It’s a nice blend of long holes, challenging approaches, and just overall fun.
I’ll be back again and again.
Lone Tree Golf Club
Played On 04/15/2018Kokopelli Golf Course
Played On 04/01/2018Good but could be better
The price was right but this is my 3rd time playing and they never have a ranger to keep the pace of play up. We had a threesome in front of us that may have been the slowest group I've ever seen. We went back and replayed three different holes (2,3, and 6) to give them some space and continued to catch them!
Finally, we ended up skipping hole 8 just to get in front of them. No ranger came out to speed up play, even after I called the clubhouse to let them know.
I will be back, but I highly recommend the staff stays on top of time because the slow old guys out there really upsets the rest of the people playing.
Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
Played On 03/25/2017Not worth more than $10
I was extremely disappointed - for $45, this course is NOT worth it. The layout is funky, the greens are terrible, we didn't see the beverage cart until hole 16 (on a par 59!!) and when we did, she didn't have much for food or drinks and only took cash. It's 2017, step up your game! I like the full course at Bear Creek but will never again play the cub/executive course - Unless it's free. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for golf. Bear Creek is off the list for the time being.
