We would come back...

We really liked this course. It was our first time playing there, but I'll be back. The course was in great shape, from tee to green. Lush green in the fairways contrasted nicely with the dormant grass of the rough. There was plenty of width to be able to hit away on the tee with little fear. There isn't much variety between the holes, but that was ok. The length of some of the holes is what gives them their difficulty. Four hundred plus par fours, two hundred plus par threes. Other than that, there weren't too many places to get in trouble. The greens were soft enough to hold the long approaches. All in all, a good place to work on your game. Not to mention the driving range, the putting green, the chipping area and the bunker practice areas. Get there early to try them out.

An OK course, nothing too special.

Nothing about today's round was overly memorable. The conditions were fine; green grass in the fairways, true rolling greens, and quiet, electric carts were all nice. But nothing really grabbed me. Nothing was there that made me want to book a tee time for tomorrow.

Random thoughts: No sand traps - a good thing? I don't know. I kinda like hitting out of sand once in a while. This course went out of its way to profess that there was no sand.

Hole number 6 was the one hole that had any kind of risk/reward to offer. A nice dogleg to the right where the aggressive player can save significant yards by aiming through a break in the trees. Other than that, mostly just ho hum, back and forth, mostly boring, links style holes.

All in all, just an OK course.
