It was in good shape. There are some holes that could be cut down a little in the rough, but, if you keep it in the fairway, no problems.

It was very wet but got a great deal to play. Course in relatively good shape. Never have liked the redo of the 14th hole because of the ICC. Other than that, love the challenge of the course. Some narrow holes.
Hi Dunbar,
Thank you for playing at Cross Creek! We are happy to hear that you got a great deal and that you enjoyed the challenge of the course. We hope to have you back again soon.

Sad to hear that the course will close in November. It was a very nice course with long par 3s and some holes that placement was essential.

Worth the drive. Lots of bunkers though. Back nine is much more narrow than the front. Very friendly staff and enjoyable to play.

It was very slow. Had to wait for carts, but it was Fathers Day Sunday and the course was packed. Some of the fairways had minimal grass. Pretty narrow course but had some challenging holes. Knowing the course will make a big difference. Overall, not bad. Will play again because the price is very reasonable.
Inside Nine at Northwest Park Golf Course

I enjoy the length of Northwest. It is challenging with the rough but not a lot of trees get in the way. It plays fairly fast with long holes and hills. It is also nice that it has a separate 9 holes that is not just par 3s but has several regulation par 4s.

The coursework as inn excellent shape and was worth the drive from Apopka. It was challenging and long but very well kept. I will definitely play again.

The people were very nice and got me on early. The course was in good shape. There are subtle slopes on the green. Overall, a good course with a little water.
We appreciate your patronage and feedback golfer.

"cut down a little in the rough"? How about cutting it down to about 1-2 inch high, like most other courses in the DC area. Yes, keep it in the fairway, because you can at least find the ball there, unlike in the rough.
Oh yes, the fairways are about 1/2 inch high, so you rarely, if ever, have a lie in the fairway where the ball sits up, unlike most of the courses in the DC area.
You forgot to mention that most all of the greens have an abundance of crabgrass on the entire surface, making putting a real guessing game. Been that way since June, and getting worse.
Play one of the County courses where the conditions are far superior to Redgate, and where the course grounds crews keep those courses in very good to excellent condition, so you know you are playing at a golf course and not at a 'cow pasture'.
