Bay Point Resort - Nicklaus Course
Played On 10/16/2019A Little Pricey
The staff here set the tone. There wasn’t a single person that didn’t make me feel extremely welcome, from the lady that checked me in, to the starter, .everyone were very professional.. The course was certainly challenging from the #2 tees and the hazards were well placed. The 4th and 5th holes boasted some beautiful views. The course was nice and had some great views. On the other hand, it seemed to be a lot of car traffic with nearby roads. Pace of play was an issue. We were a twosome, following a foursome and a threesome. Tried to get a couple to join us, but she didn’t feel comfortable playing with other men. The tees, fairways, bunkers were really nice, but was disappointed in the greens. The looked nice and rolled true, but the were extremely slow. I played midday, so didn’t pay the full price. This course was definitely not worth the full price. I had played Panama City Country Club earlier in the week and there greens were much faster. It was nice that the range balls were included in price, so you can hit ten balls or buckets. Next time in the area I will try this course again.

I came to PCB to relax and play some golf. I realized PCCC was private and know open to public so I took the opportunity to play. I got a $20, deal with Golf Now so I was not expecting a great deal. Being a Donald Ross design, they lost thousands of trees which means it’s wide open now. Some of the holes were difficult to figure out, but on the other hand several holes became easier as there was no trees and you could hit move drivers. From tee to green the course is one of the best in PCB. Greens were excellent and fairways very good. Tee boxes and bunkers were in great shape. Give this course a try, staff is very friendly and they are trying hard to get the place back, you won’t be disappointed. I had also played Bay Point Nicklaus Course and the greens at PCCC we’re better.
Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel
Played On 08/22/2018Excellent Course
First time to play this course as I was visiting the Denver area. I paid $85.00 with range balls by booking on Golf now. Which is a little more then I like to pay, but seems about average in the area. From the tee boxes, thru the greens nothing, but beautiful green grass. The course was in excellent condition. I commended to my playing partners that they are very spoiled in the Denver area. The tee boxes were better then a lot of greens I have played on back home. Will play again when back in the area.
Heritage Ranch Golf and Country Club
Played On 04/24/2018Was not as nice as I was told
The course was a good layout and the staff were very friendly. I was told it was a must play. The greens were good and quick, however, that was about all. Tee boxes needed mowing, the fairways and surrounding areas were extremely dry. Most of the metroplex has had a lot of rain, but this course was dry.
The Courses at Watters Creek - Traditions Course
Played On 02/26/2018Nice Track
First time playing the course and it is winter (grass is dormant). We also had a tremendous amount of rain recently. The course drained really well. It has a great layout and was a lot of fun to play. Had some easy hole and some hard. Pro shop staff was very professional and took care of business. I’m excited about getting back there in the summer. I would recommend this course.
Mesquite Golf Course
Played On 02/09/2018Ok, Muny
It is a city public course, so I guess you can’t expect much. Staff seems to be friendly, but hardly anything available to buy in pro shop. It is winter time even in Texas. The greens seem to roll ok, of course, the fairways and tee boxes are dominant. I had a funny experience. I had a 11:40 tee time with three other people I didn’t know. At 11:32, two of the three come strolling in the pro shop. So the guy behind counter told us to go hit. I was glad I was going to ride by myself as I knew I was going to have to leave early. Had asked to get my own cart, but the staff in pro shop told me I would have to pay for a full cart. So I go hit me tee ball, shortly the other two showed up. As the second person was hitting, the starter hollered at me to come back. The fourth had showed up. When we were in the second fairway, a twosome came up behind us and wanted to play through. There was no room so we said no. Ironically, the twosome I played with wanted to play as a twosome, pro shop said no. Then I had another thought, why the starters didn’t take our fourth and make the twosome behind us a threesome. But that would have meant the course would have had us use an extra cart.
Twin Creeks Golf Course
Played On 02/08/2018Great Layout
Really enjoyed the course. The layout was good. Not a long course, but fair. I was a single joining a twosome to make a threesome. Caught the foursome in front of us on hole 8, it was pretty slow from then on. The greens were in good shape and rolled true. The tee boxes and fairways were dormant, but looking forward to going back when it warms up.
Wildhorse Golf Club of Robson Ranch - South/West Course
Played On 11/29/2017Great Course
From the beginning, dealing with the staff in pro shop until I got in my car, this course is a class act. Pro shop staff, restaurant staff all friendly and nice. The course was over seeded, so tee boxes, fairways and greens were all green. The greens were nice and rolled true, but very tricky. The only down side was the driving range was closed for maintenance, but other then that it is a 5 star course.
Frisco Lakes Golf Club
Played On 11/27/2017Great Experience
Had a great time. The course was in great condition. The greens where awesome. After the round went into Pro Shop to look at merchandise. They gave me a great deal on a FJ shirt. Definitely would recommend to other golfers and yes, I will be back.
Grand Reserve Golf Club - International Course
Played On 04/01/2017Not as nice as the Champion
I stayed at the resort the weekend after the Puerto Rico Open, unfortunately the course they played (Champion) was booked the whole weekend for local tourneys. Playing the International was fine, but wished that I could have played the Champion. The course has a hilly side (front) and a forest feel (back). The tee boxes, fairways and greens were fine, but if you are in the rough, just a lot of different grasses and weeds. As you drive into the resort you pass both courses, but only see two holes of the International, the rest are the Champion. The back was ok, but it felt really scary back there. I played by myself and 7 of the 9 holes are lined with tropical trees, (it was pretty, but being back there just felt strange). I will say on the back, especially the 12 hole, you will see a lot iguanas.
Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club
Played On 03/31/2017Wow, top notch
It was an excellent course. From the time you walk in the door until you leave, first class. Staff was very friendly and inviting. The course was in immaculate shape. From the putting green, driving range, to the on course tee boxes, fairways, greens and rough, all tournament ready. The only draw back that I had (not the courses fault) I was a single that caught the Ladies Member Guest Tourney and they were slow. But was able to enjoy the scenery. A must play in Puerto Rico, was able to get a rate of $115, on Teeoff.com.

The course was a wonderful experience. From the time you walked in the front door until you leave was a great experience. The staff was very friendly, the course was immaculate, perfectly manicured. I thought it was the middle of the summer. This is a must play if you visit Savannah.
Fun course
It is a great course and a fun layout. The pace of play was good, I'm a single who joined three others. It is a links style, so we felt the wind, but added to the challenge. It is on a path for incoming planes to near by airport, it was noisy at times, but not a bother. Course was in great shape and the greens were excellent.
Southbridge Golf Club
Played On 03/06/2017Good course
I had played this course over 20 years ago, it has gotten old, it is a good layout, but up keep is down. Don't know if they don't have the money or not. Use to be a top course. I would play it again. Greens were good which is a plus, the pace was slow as I was a single playing behind the SSU golf team. Not the courses fault.
Hi there, we're sorry to hear that you feel that way about our course. We have worked hard on the upkeep, especially since Hurricane Matthew. We're happy to hear that the greens were to your liking and we will appreciate seeing you back on the course. Thank you for taking the time to review us. We hope to see you again soon!
