Played a few years ago before the changes. Course has been revamped and slightly shortened.

Disappointed that although our price included GPS & practice balls the cart had to be changed as GPS was not working and the range was closed before our tee time.

Very slow round with no Marshall on the course which was a pity as it was obvious to all which group was holding up play

Course in good nick but pace of play ruined the enjoyment of the day

Probably mid price course & mid standard

Fairways bare in bits but fast greens in better condition than in recent years

First 10holes took 3 hours, overall just over 5 hours, kills any enjoyment when you are waiting to play every shot

After 7 holes the ranger appeared and did speak to the gents four two ahead of us who had lost over a hole on the group in front of them. He spoke politely to them to little effect, they put 6 balls in the water at the next hole a par 3. They surely should have been told to miss the next hole to catch up as they were holding up the whole course

It was not a cheap round so we won’t be back until we can see from the reviews that they are improving the pace of play

At under $45 this is great value. Only problem we found were the extremely fast & difficult to read greens - very frustrating

Loved the course, paired with a pleasant couple & enjoyed the round

Couple of minor disappointments- no GPS & no ice buckets on cart tho you could take ice at water stations

Course in reasonable condition

Played mid day Sunday so just over 4 hours was fine

Excellent condition but all relatively short holes. Great training course but not a course to push you

No reduction in price for the heavily sanded greens which made putting a lottery

Disappointing as the course is normally a good test for the standard club golfer. Prices should be adjusted to reflect conditions

Booked to play at 10am prepaid, arrive in plenty of time

First tee really busy & temperature was rising - re tempers

There was some ladies comp on & they kept appearing apparently with the right to drop in & start at the first tee having played the back 9

No one happy, our playing partners confronted a group & said they were rudely told to go away

Eventually the starter appeared & allowed us to start but the play was so slow with ladies groups not booked in everywhere

Shambles & a slow round

For the cost it was ok but as always very busy & you do wait around

Also behaviour of some players (plenty of restrooms but 3 of the 4 in front of us openly relieving themselves next to the 17th tee as we putted on 16th) is out of order

The course itself is fine for what you pay - not a real links course but similar to an open parklands uk course

Excellent course, condition & layout

We played as a two as did the 3 groups behind us. We followed 4 members playing in THEIR course at THEIR pace so we were backing up & waited at numerous holes

Great course, the starter (Eric?) makes a point of matching you with suitable partners & that improves the experience

Upgraded conditions after closing for a while last year & fab value

Quality course with very fast greens

Will play again & try & putt better

We played this course a few years ago & thought it was in great Nick

Now, it's the worst course I have seen this year,outrageous that they are charging middling rates. Admittedly there is an ew supervisor Garret who explained to us he is starting to turn it round and it should be ready next summer, however I would not look at it for a year at least

As the final insult the toilet facilities on course were embarrassing - reported it to the reception & said they would have it cleaned, sorry it's way past that, demolished perhaps

A long way to go to climb back to its former glories

Course in good nick, so much better than Remington which is in the same price bracket

Slow round as cart path only just now but fair enough the reduced price took account of this delay

Worth a visit

When paying only $30 we were not expecting a championship course but anyone wishing to play at that price would be far better off at Royal St Cloud or Harmony

Dreadful tees, poor fairways & when they had been cut all the excess grass was left to slow up the balls

There was a shot gun start running late when we were scheduled to play so we had to start at the 10th & to be fair the first nine holes moved well. You can of course guess that when we reached the turn on several occasions there were three groups on the tees.

There are no marshals to be seen to speed up play - how infuriating is it in a slow round to watch the guys two in front of you diverting to feed ducks rather than moving on

All in all we will not be back, this was our second visit & it has deteriorated recently

Have played this course several times over the last couple of years & always a very enjoyable round

This time the greens were truly awful, green only because of coloured sand as there was no grass to be found

We thought it may have been because of the tough winter but the following day we played the delightful Harmony course where the greens were excellent therefore no excuses

Excellent value for your average club golfer. Not a championship course & doesn't claim to be.

One of the few courses where golfers were courteous & waved us through as we were a two playing behind a fourball

We prefer the white/blue options having tried red the last time

Delay at start as all carts were out on the course

Over 5hours & no attempt to speed up play by stewards who were non existent

Greens very difficult, fast with slopes all over & killed any chance of a decent score

We have played this course several times over the past couple of years & it has been excellent. Yesterday the condition was disappointing & requires some attention. Played the sister course 'the oaks' last week and it was in far better condition.

The day we played there was a large ladies event on the oaks, perhaps all the time had been devoted to preparing that course
