Played on a mild day at the end of the season (Oct 29) when they had a 1 day special to take advantage of the weather. They clearly had a large turnout and they jammed the tee times to accommodate the demand. Clearly the pace of play suffered - 3 hours to play 9 holes! Brutal!!

Course conditions were not very good at all. I was expecting much better conditions for a course like this as part of ClubLink. Fairways were in rough shape as were the greens. My sense was that this course gets lots of play so conditions suffer. I played the North course last year and it was a much better course and in better condition.
It's a1.5 hour drive for me, so I definitely won't be back to play here - much better courses closer to me (Hamilton/Burlington) than to drive that far for an average course in my opinion.

We play 2-4 times a year at Pipers and always enjoy the course and conditions. Greens are excellent and generally fast and true. Par 3's are very good and offer varying distances. Prevailing winds always pose a challenge. Fescue rough also poses a challenge for high handicappers or if you aren't keeping ur ball in the fairway.

Biggest issue generally is pace of play. Typically 5 hour round in my experience unless you play at off hours. It's a popular course so every one wants to play it. They have so many tournaments through the season it's frustrating trying to book tee times during the week. I'd play there more often if it was easier to book a tee time or have a round in 4.5 hours or less.

Second time playing Hoot and enjoyed it even more this time. Course was in excellent shape and greens were fast and true. Plenty of elevation changes on the course and a nice collection of fairways where you could try to bomb it off the tee or place your drives with target golf tee shots. A very good parkland course with plenty of trees to separate you from other player on other holes.

Pace of play was good considering a busy day. It's a bit of a drive (slightly over an hour) but worth it a couple of times a year. Looking forward to trying the other 2 courses on the property.

This is one of our Go To courses through the golf season. Very good staff and provides good golf value. The course used to be a broccoli farm years ago and transformed into a playable yet challenging golf course. Always in very good condition despite the high volume it gets. My only complaint would be pace of play on the weekends. It can get slow (5 hrs) because of it's popularity. Despite that, it provides a good challenge to all levels of golfers and has various tee blocks for advanced or not-so-advanced golfers. My wife plays in a ladies league on Tuesdays here and loves it! They really do a terrific job with the leagues and provide great value for golf and food services within the clubhouse. Some holes on the course have very generous fairways and quite open, as well as other holes being fairly tight and demanding accurate tee shots or approach shots because of water. A really playable and enjoyable course!!

We try to play KF at least once a year to enjoy the challenging layout, despite it's slower pace of play (especially in the summer) and course conditions. Fabulous course design at the base of the Niagara Escarpment - it would be 5 star in my opinion if they had the ability to put more money into additional TLC of the course. Being a municipal course it obviously doesn't get as much as it deserves. Very challenging layout with large greens and plenty of elevation changes. Signature 11th hole is a beauty from the tee deck! No driving range which is a bummer but good putting green near the first tee. Not much in the way of amenities here so you basically come for the golf. Being a municipal course right in the city and a reasonable green fee, it gets a tremendous amount of play so pace of play becomes an issue and that's the biggest reason why we don't play here more often.

I get a chance once a year typically to play at this private course with a friend who's a member. Course it always in great condition and the greens are fast and true! The course provides a very good challenge but the only complaint I have is that it has a few too many blind shots. Once you know the course it's not a problem, but from a personal preference, I'm not a fan of blind golf shots in general. Staff is friendly and the clubhouse is beautiful. Practice range and putting green are nice & large. I never say NO to playing here and always appreciate the layout & challenge.

We make an annual visit to Otter Creek from Hamilton (1.5 hrs) each summer and always enjoy the course! Conditions are always excellent and love the fast true greens! There are a lot of elevation changes throughout the course as it meanders on a large property. You get to use all your clubs in the bag which is a bonus! Great practice range, putting green and chipping area! This course will frustrate you a bit if playing for the first time - you will play some holes differently after playing it once or twice. Really good value here despite the long drive but worth it!

This was our 1st time playing Mid Pines as part of a guys week driving down from Ontario Canada to get into the golf season. Loved the course and the conditions and weather was ideal (May). A very good challenge especially for the first game of the season! We should have made this the last game for our trip because the greens very fast and your approach shots had to be spot on otherwise it wouldn't stay on the greens. Lots of false fronts and most greens were elevated and "turtle backed". Loved the southern charm of the course as well as the layout and would definitely come back!

We returned to play Talamore again after having played it last year for our boys golf trip down from Ontario, Canada. Excellent condition again and enjoyed the parkland layout. Although it was quite busy, the pace of play was good and you didn't really see many foursomes because of the trees lining the fairways. Terrific greens and lush fairways. A very good test for all golfers. Will definitely be back to play Talamore next time we're in town..

Played TR early in the spring and was my 2nd time playing it. Played the year before - both times as part of a guys golf trip down from Ontario Canada. The first time we played we kind of enjoyed it but couldn't quite make up our minds whether or not we really liked it. There were a lot of blind shots and some tricked up holes. We wondered if we knew the course a bit better, would it be a course we would like to play. Well, after our second time playing there, we decided it wasn't our cup of tea. Despite knowing the course and what to expect, we found the layout too unconventional for our liking. Too many blind shots and tricked up holes.
We would definitely recommend playing here in order to test your game and to decide for yourself if it's something you like. I think its a "love it or hate it" type of layout.
Course conditions were excellent - nice fairways and fast hard greens. Pace of play was a bit slow but not too bad. It's a bit out of the way but worth the effort to play a very unconventional course.

This was one of our favorites of the courses we played while on a guys golf trip from Ontario Canada in the spring. Lots of elevation changes and a terrific layout! generally generous fairways and receptive greens. Terrific pace to greens. Course was lush and in great shape. Plenty of water that comes into play on various holes, especially 9 and 18. Terrific clubhouse and had a great view and lunch after our round as we watched other groups on various greens & fairways near the outdoor deck. Will definitely come back to play this in the future.

After hearing that this course would go private soon, we decided to make it part of our golf trip back in April. We thoroughly enjoyed the course and found it to be a good challenge. Pace of play was very good and found most fairways generous. I found them somewhat browned out and was expecting more green or lusher fairways. It didn't take away from the enjoyment of the course though. The course is off the beaten track and nothing around there which was fine because we just headed back into town for dinner. All in all a really nice course with wide fairways and generous greens and thoroughly enjoyed the round.
