Just another enjoyable day on the course. Greens were in good shape

Just a really fun day today! I played as a single and was able to go off the back nine to begin the day and as a result played the round in just under three hours. It would’ve been faster, but I caught the morning crew on my 14th hole. Otherwise I probably would have played in 2 hours.

Course was in generally good shape for this time of year. The greens were recently aerated, but they were rolling pretty decently.

Temperature was great, but as usual down here the winds were blowing which played havoc. Nonetheless a great day

Course layout was nice. Overall, the course was in pretty nice shape. Greens were a tad slow. As the first time playing the course, was frustrating not to know where some of the water was. A few blind shots only to find out the ball was in the drink. Pace of play was frustrating. Would have been nice to have a Marshall nudging a few of the slower groups. But, it didn’t ruin the day. Weather was fantastic, so just chose to enjoy the fact I was outside chasing the little white ball around.

A great course, but could definitely could use a Marshall to improve the pace of play. We were behind a slow group who were totally oblivious to the groups behind them. They had a least two holes open in front of them while there were 4 groups stacked up behind them.

Course was in generally good shape. Pace of play was decent as we finished in under 4 hours.

I played as a single in the afternoon and completed my round in 2 hours and 15 minutes.

The course was still recovering from flooding the week before when they recorded 16 inches of rain. It was cart path only and two holes were closed due to the rain, but was in decent shap otherwise. A few traps were still under water.

The only issue we had was the pace of play. Had to wait 15 minutes to tee off as there were no carts available. The pace of play was excruciatingly slow as there appeared to be no course marshals monitoring pace. As a result, we only were able to complete 15 holes in 4 hours. Outside of that, no issues. Loved the course layout.

As noted above, pace was slow. But the day was enjoyable otherwise.
