" When the Greens Come Back " this course deserves a higher rating for SURE! Very Nice Staff, and folks let you play through if a Single. Course has a good layout, with enough challenge to test the advanced player. Nice Club House, with food etc., lounge/dining area over-looks course and makes for a nice 19th Hole. Driving range (though small), and just a Very Limited PRO SHOP* The GREENS did appear to be coming back somewhat, and if they do, it will Definetly be worth the drive back up to try again!

Excellent condition this LINKS Course provides, with full service facility , range ,pro shop , dining itc., and a Very nice friendly staff. A true "out" then "in" links course with nice greens and tree lined , rolling fairways
HINT(S): SEE PICS, layup to top of first hill on #1 tee shot, long hitters won't have any trouble getting home in 2 from there. Use Enough club on the par 3's, you don't want the bottom of the hill up and down. Don't try Short-cuts, keep the ball in front of you first few times playing.
"Two thumbs-up to management" course was in same great shape last year at this time !

" A Very Fine Mix, of "Dog-legs & Straight - away" tree lined Holes, with Water on 4,5,7 & 18 that comes in to play. The Front Nine has more twist and turns, and the Back Nine is more Straight-away. Greens are running Fair and True with nice speed, fairways are in pretty good shape for this early in the spring. Player's are "Courteous" , walking groups allowed me to play-through (as i was a single/riding) ! Staff was "friendly & helpful",! This is a " FULL SERVICE " Facility, with driving range ,chipping & putting green(s), Club house and Stocked Pro shop.

I am writing this review, in hopes , that the "RIGHT" people can take some Constructive Criticism, and Go down to the Local Hardware Store and Pick-up some "GRASS SEED", shut down (9) holes at a time, for about (2) weeks, offer a special rate during that time, and "GET THE GREENS BACK"!!! its a shame, because this could be a "EXCELLENT" " EXECUTIVE STYLE" GOLF COURSE ! Perfect for a fast round for the Exec"s, Walker"s, Children starting out, Mom and Pa , in a word,"everyone" who plays the Game and Likes a Good Challenge! Has a Great Layout and enough par 4's and a par 5 to test your skills. i live nearby and would play this numerous times in a month.

NICE LAYOUT, WELL MAINTAINED, SCENIC VIEWS , WITH A FAIR CHALLENGE. I LIKED THIS COURSE BECAUSE OF IT'S "OLD STYLE" FEELING . LOT'S OF ROLLING HILLS, MATURE TREES, WATER ON MANY HOLES, DOG LEGS, LAY-UPS, AND WELL MAINTAINED GREENS & FAIRWAYS WITH ENOUGH BUNKERS GIVES A SORT OF "RETRO" THROW- BACK ATMOSPHERE ! THIS FACILITY HAS A DRIVING RANGE, PUTT-CHIP & BUNKER PRACTICE AREA. "NO" IT ISN'T THE "MODERN / RESORT - STYLE" FACILITY BUT HAS A NICE PRO SHOP , CONCESSION STAND AND COVERED PATIO THAT SERVE'S THOSE NEED'S "NICELY" ! OH- YEA, "LOT'S OF NICE FOLKS OUT THERE" !!!!

" A VERY CALM & RELAXING CHARACTER TO THIS WELL MAINTAINED COURSE " " A Full Service Facility, with a nice Pro-Shop, Bar & dining room, Driving range with Putting Green and a Beautiful Club House ! " DON'T LET THE SCORECARD FULL YA THOUGH" ( with it's Shortish par 5's) etc.. The par 5's are steep elev. change's with side-hill lies and dog-leg twist and turns. The par 3's are well Bunkered with Fast & True greens. The par 4's are the Most Challenging with much the same lay-out & terrain as the 3's & 5's. All in All, " A GOOD CHALLENGE", for ALL LEVELS, with SCENIC VIEWS*, and nice people ! **just hope this AREA gets some NEEDED RAIN SOON**

"ONE OF THE B E S T THAT I HAVE EVER PLAYED" !
Staff is Super ( i thought it was a Private Club ), they load your bag and have it waiting after you check-in. Starter(s). are very helpful, beautiful dining room/bar & and well stocked Pro Shop.The Course is in "EXCELLENT" Condition. Fairways are plush, Bunkers have smooth white sand, and the Greens are F A N T A S T I C !! Tee shot landing areas are FAIR enough, but the Skill comes in on approach shots. Multi-Teeing allows all skill levels to enjoy this Excellent Layout !
" A Real Pleasure to Play "

Definetely can be a challenge, but is "Player Friendly". Has a Links feel , which is the case on many holes, yet a few holes run side-by-side, with plenty of Room & Mature Trees seperating those that do. Very Scenic, with rolling fairways, and "Greens" to match, which are bunkered Nicely, with "near perfect" sand that is not too Course nor Powdery. The well guarded Greens, make approach shots , maybe the Best Challenge here. A Nice Course Layout, with nice length from the "Tips", a Friendly Staff, and well maintained, makes for a Great Day, and a Good Value.

This Course has alot of character, it's not a Links Course, the fairways are seperated by enough Mature Trees that it is best to keep the ball in the " SHORT grass" ! The Greens are in "good shape" which makes the day Fun with enough Challenge for Advanced Player's to keep their (A) game sharp. Nice White sandy Bunkers around alot of the greens are a "Plus". Nice Facilities ( driving range, club house, pro shop, etc.). "This is definetly a Desirable Course for WALKER'S " , with only mild elevation changes, the pace of play is not at ALL Bad !

Upon approaching the Club House, i couldn't miss the Brick wall displaying with confidence "Carnustie", and just off in the background, Rolling fairways, Dunes, and plenty of White Sand. "Yep", it's back to the Old Country, and you "Better Bring Your ( A ) Game". Tastefully thought-out Course, with GPS in the Cart, this was a Good Challenge and a "Lot of Fun". The Course was in Excellent Condition, for this time of year, the best i've played so far this Early Spring, and will surrender a "tweet" or two, if you use well thought-out, and well placed shots through the Dunes, sand and Over the Water ! The "Starter" was very helpful and polite, though the Pro-shop staff seemed to have an "Attitude" towards the Golfnow Customer, for some reason? I Felt Cheap after leaving.

I have always believed that if the "Greens" are in good shape and Putt True, you can always "roll - em over in the fairways", and play the Game. "That's what you will find here". Along with "Super" people that are always friendly (Roger, Shirley & good ole Bo), and VERY REASONABLE RATES......................Enough said !
