Good; bad and the ugly. Love to drive the ball; enjoy the fairway shots; but, need much improvement around the green. Gaining more confidence as I find my swing. 2015 is my fourth year of playing golf "seriously." Favorite golf book: Golf in the Kingdom by Michael Murphy. Am still seeking out Shivas Irons!

Played On 03/02/2015Lovely course in Eastern North Carolina
I learned to play golf on this course and recommend it highly. It is challenging but not incredibly out of reach for a satisfying round. The surrounding area of the Neuse River is a lovely backdrop. Since I recently played in the winter, the course was not in its usual excellent condition during spring and summer play. Especially enjoyable for me is the ability for a player to walk (carts are certainly welcome and readily available.) The pro is terrific and all the staff so helpful.
