Every time we play Silver Brooke we're impressed by the excellent condition of the course, especially the greens. Some might complain about the sand traps, but that's only because inconsiderate golfers fail to rake their own mess.
Silver Brooke is a staple in our circuit of courses and I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone.

The day was perfect and the course as usual was excellent. The only downside were the burnt out portions on some of the fairways. The heat has caught up to the courses and water is needed badly.
Lora Bay is one of our favorites.

The golf course superintendent has done a magnificent job of overcoming wet, cool and overcast conditions to have the course in superb condition.
It was a treat to play.

Playing Tangle Creek is always a treat. Course conditions were very good. Greens ran true. Never disappointed.

The layout is very nice with a combination of parkland and open country. The greens had some winter kill but ran true and were a good speed for this early. However, the course was saturated and it was a shame to put players on it until it had a chance to drain. Another week with decent weather and some wind would have made a lot of difference.

Lora Bay is a very nice layout. However, with all the rain we've had a better decision would be to have allowed this course to drain and dry for another week before subjecting it to play. It was great to get out, but courses need to have better judgment in when to open.

Golfing at Sandpiper Bay allows you to experience excellence from staff to a wonderfully conditioned golf course. There is no need to play winter rules with fairways in this conditions. The greens were fast and ran very true.
A pleasure from the minute we stepped on the property.

Pace of play was slow on the front but moved right out on the back. The course was in very good condition. Sand traps a little inconsistent. Would recommend playing here anytime.

Tees, fairways and greens all in very good shape. Recent rain made conditions cart path only and long walks, but that was not the courses fault. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fun day out.

Tees were long, fairways devoid of grass. Had to roll the ball onto tufts of crabgrass. Greens ran true. Would not recommend until grass grows.

Lora Bay is always in consistently good condition and an enjoyable course to play. The greens were in excellent condition as usual but the sand traps were in their normal poor condition. We gave the bunkers a pass today due to heavy rains recently.
The back patio overlooking the 18th is a great place to replay the round over a pint of Steihl.

The staff at Tangle Creek are as good as any at any club in the area. Always a smile on their faces and willing to do anything to make your golfing experience the best possible.
The course layout is very challenging with conditions excellent. The greens are large and allow for three tiers and three distinct hole locations. Your putting better be up to the challenge.
Still me favorite course throughout this entire region!

This a great layout that needs some work on the bunkers, greens, cart paths and some fairways were not in great shape.
It's a shame since this layout is one of the best in the region.
Five hours on the course and only 1 maintenance person seen. Just not enough.

From staff friendliness to Course layout to Course condition, Tangle Creek meets every need possible. A beautifully manicured course allows great lies to make shots. Bunkers well placed and groomed properly allow you to make recoveries if you need and huge greens in great shape tax your putting skills in every way.
The best value and best conditioned course I've played in this region of the province.

First time playing Heritage Hills. The initial holes were through the trees and I forgot this was the start of Muskoka and BLACK FLIES. Fortunately we had a brisk breeze that kept them at home.
The course featured large greens that demanded good lag putting. Well trapped around the greens and off the tees.
Very fair and straight forward course that demanded good shots.

This was the first time out foursome played Shelburne and we were all very pleased with the condition of the course (especially this early in the yesr) and the friendliness of the staff.
We played in 4 hours so pace of play was excellent.
The greens were a little slow (expected this early) but ran true. The fairways were potmarked a bumpy for riding, but allowed for excellent lies for the ball.
Would recommend this course to anyone and we will be back again this summer.

The greens

Lora Bay has been on my radar to play for sometime. This course was in excellent condition for the 1st of May even thought the greens had been aerated and were a slow.
The staff were extremely friendly with the started being especially good in assisting with local knowledge and recommendations on the tees we should play from.
Due to the time of year we were restricted to cart path only that made VERY long walks at times, but it didn't deter from an excellent day.
Definitely come back to Lora Bay and will keep it on my list of locals to frequent.
