The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes
Played On 12/14/2022Nice course, predictable, few restrooms
It is a nicely kept course with plenty of trees and water hazards where the sides are heavily sloped to the water. Most of the greens are the same ( raised green protected by front left and right bunkers). Few interesting changes in elevation.
My biggest complaint is there is only one restroom on the course that you encounter after hole 2 and hole 15.
Countryway Golf Club
Played On 11/07/2022Slow play - growing grass
Many of the fairways were walking only because new winter grass is coming in. I understand that, but this caused a massive pile-up with two to three teams waiting for someone to finish at the green. They only alerted us after we had started our round, and didn't seem to really care. There was zero pace of play.
Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course
Played On 10/20/2022A very nice course
We had the course to ourselves on a Thursday afternoon in October. Las Colinas first winds through a neighborhood of beautiful resort homes done in a Spanish style. Then the course goes off into the wilderness where away from the houses, with only the birds. Some fairways are undulating. Greens both above and below the fairway make for and interesting round. The staff is friendly and we always stay at the Mission Inn for dinner and drinks.
Countryway Golf Club
Played On 10/14/2022Great short-game practice course
Countryway is a great place to practice your short game. There are rolling fairways, tricky approach shots, and other challenges. It can get pretty busy at times.

This short-game course presents many challenges with lots of water features and undulating fairways and hilly sides. If you are looking for a place to improve you short game accuracy, consider this course.
Mission Inn Resort & Club - El Campeon Course
Played On 10/19/2020Beautiful and challenging
Course was very well maintained and there are plenty of challenges along the way with the 85 foot elevation changes. If you like beautiful vistas of the course you will love El Campeon. There are many elevation rises along the way and views looking back toward the Mission Inn, which is a lovely full-service hotel. Swimming Pool and hot tub, outdoor pool table and bar make this a great place to relax after your round. Golf clubhouse itself is nice, but not extraordinary. We would have loved a place to sit outside with a drink after our round. Staff is friendly and helpful.
