Number One at Brookside Golf Club
Played On 09/04/2017No Carts
AM Tee time held up by 40 minutes because the course had no charged carts - even before 10am. Fairways have lots of burnouts and messy. Greens lumpy and uneven - bumpy rolls.
Number One at Brookside Golf Club
Played On 07/16/2016Such slow play I quit after the 16th hole having been on the course for 5 hours
Always slow play here and a course management that knows it but won't do anything to speed up play. Fairways in horrible shape.
Mountain View at Desert Willow Golf Resort
Played On 09/09/2014Everything good BUT,
Nice tee, fairways and overall layout. All greens are rolling with ups, downs and breaks and double breaks making for a challenging day for putting.
I'd give this course four or five stars if it wasn't for the condition of the greens. It was impossible to get a true and smooth roll on the ball. They were bumpy and bouncy and extremely SLOW. It seemed these greens were about twice as slow as any others I have played in the area.
Too bad......

Played On 7/24/2013Beautiful and Challenging Course
Played here for the first time this week. I had heard it was a tough course, but couldn't see it for the front nine. Back 9 was a different story - really tough, especially the last few holes. You have to hit to spots and be sure that if you miss a shot, you miss to the right place. Enjoyed it very much and look forward to playing it again.
Desert Dunes Golf Course
Played On 1/23/2013Wide Open for Bombers
I've played here several times. Usually a very windy course that increases difficulty immensely when the wind is howling. With the exception of one hole, this is a wide fairway course, so you can grip it and rip it if you want. Few bunkers compared to many other desert courses. This is a fun course to play, wind or no wind.
