I returned after 25 years when the houses were being built around the course so it looked different. The course was in better than good shape. The pace of play was ok, probably due to it was very windy. The staff was very friendly. I would play it again.

It’s been over 25 years since I’ve played this course. Back then housing was still being built around the course. The course is one of the better ones in good condition. A couple of tee boxes had been worn down. The greens and bunkers are in great shape. The practice vacillates and staff are great. Even though I got a good deal,regularly it’s in line with what you would play during the high season in southwest Florida. Also it’s still windy.

I’ve been coming down to Southern Florida for years now. Not a member of any course,it’s always a pleasure to be able to play at Spanish Wells.

Due to Covid-19 I haven’t played there in 2 years. It hasn’t changed much. There was top dressing on the greens which made speed in putting inconsistent. As well as getting the ball to check. I had fun.

It’s been 2 years since I’ve played the course. The layout hasn’t changed. It’s in average shape as it gets a lot of play for seasonal visitors. I understand that prices will go up but they’re over charging for what it is.

My wife wanted to go to Reading from Baltimore to shop at a particular store and visit a friend. I made a last minute tee time. She dropped me off and the course hooked me up with 2others. They were very helpful with directions,pitfalls & the greens. The course on the card is short on yardage, but don’t let that fool you. It’s the elevation changes that make it challenging. The greens have undulations and some are suttle and some are very obvious. The course was in pretty good condition considering it has been wet. The tee boxes were the hardest hit.

The course is in better shape than some of the previous years. That could be one of the reasons that the prices has risen. Our time didn’t allow us to finish a full 18 holes (got 16 in). While the pace of play wasn’t terrible, we did have to wait on several holes. I will probably play again this year.

We had a tee time for 2:30 and we got off early. We played at a comfortable pace. The tee boxes,fairways were in good shape. The greens were firm and fast.

Played on my birthday.after a cold snap we had sunshine blue skies and windy. The course was in great shape. The greens were firm and fast. I’m glad I played with a couple of locals to point out potential trouble spots.

It’s Naples in season. There aren’t many public courses to play. It’s busy,they are in a low water situation. The fairways were dry hard and tight. The greens were hard and fast as compared to greens up north.

On my birthday I decided to treat myself and play Tiburon Black course. It was cool and windy. The other 2 people that I was paired up with were a no show. I started out on my own and at the 4th hole caught up with a couple as caught up with a 4some with forecaddy. It was a waiting game. The couple gave up after the 14th hole. We were always behind the pace time according to the gps on the carts. I would have hated what it would have been like without a caddy. The course was in great shape. The greens firm and fast. I found it easy to get around and not hit into something hidden. I would seriously consider playing, but not in an absolute must. All of the practice facilities and the the stall were great.

I've been coming to Naples for over 17 years and have played the a couple of times each time. The course is in good shape considering the amount of play it gets during the winter season. I've never payed the full price and I wouldn't. The pace of play was slow. The tee box on number 4 (white tee) was in horrible shape. It looked like they tried to overseed and it got washed out. It all broken up and you couldn't find a spot to stand. The greens were in great shape and fast. If you get a hot deal it maybe worth it as there are limited choices in public courses at a reasonable price during the winter months.

Interesting layout, various tees, generous fairways in good condition. Large greens with undulations. They seem to be slower than what one visualize. We found what seemed to be small insect holes with mounds on the later holes (15-18). Some long travel between holes, exspecially on the back nine. The pace was fine until hole 15 where we were waiting on every shot. For those who were commenting on price, it's Naples in Jan. Feb. March, it's what the market will bear. I happen to get a last minute deal. I would play it again. Disregard my rating on the off course amenities as I didn't use them. Plenty of water & bathroom facilities on course. We saw the cart twice, once on each nine.

I played the flamingo course and I played on a Palm Sunday and it wasn't busy. I had a 12:12 tee time but was able get off early. It was very windy, which happens in south Florida. The resort has excellent practice facilities, putting green, chipping green with bunkers and huge driving range. The carts have gps maps for yardage. The course itself was in great condition. The tee area was the most worn, but not awful. Plenty of tee choices, depending on your level. They have a beverage cart on the course and we saw her three times. I didn't have anything to eat at the clubhouse so I can comment.

I enjoyed the course as much as the other time that I played. Tee boxes were in good shape as were the fairways. Some of the greens had some areas that had some problems. They were being addressed and for the most part not in play. There are no sand bunkers. They have waste areas that at times serve as cart paths. Avoid hitting there, not fun. Can't comment on the food as I didn't stay to eat. The beer was cold. There is a snack shack at the start/turn after nine.

When playing anytime during Jan,Feb,March in Naples the price you pay is going to be higher and the cheaper courses get a lot of play. It will be slower and tuff to keep in better shape. This year with all the rain, it was I better shape. I don't know about the food, we didn't stop at the turn or go in after the round. For me it was when I could play so I payed the price. You have to realize that there are not too many choices in public 18 hole full length courses. That there are some executive courses to play. And then if you're live/stay or know someone in a gated community and have playing privileges you see some nicer courses. Again this time of the year it is what it is.
