If you're in the area, play this wonderful golf course. Lush fairways (and rough!) , the greens rolled awesome and the staff was extremely friendly. With COVID-19 still active, they allowed 1 person per cart (but they let my brother and I share a cart). Also, the staff didn't put any pin flags on the entire course which was a little bothersome when chipping but the pins were almost all in the middle of every green and with the GPS on the carts, it made it a little easier. They also turned the cups upside down so your putts wouldn't go in the hole but no big deal! The layout is really fun with just enough water to make it sporty! Great place to play golf! A++

We played this course yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was cart path only due to the course still being a little soggy from the tropical storm that passed through last week but the fairways and greens were both very nice! My only "con" would be for the staff to tell you it's cart path only when you call to book the tee time and not find that out when you get there to check in. Other than that little minor issue, everything else was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, we saw the bev cart girl several times during our round, and they had water coolers about every three to four holes on the course. By the way, the course was not too bad to walk from the cart paths...the mild weather definitely saved us! We will play this course again!

Play this course! I live in San Antonio and it's about an hour and a half drive from my house but it's always well worth it. Great layout and the staff is always super friendly. The greens were a little sandy this time but it was a light dusting that didn't affect the putts rolling as true as ever. The fairways were perfect and the ball sat up nicely for all the shots but make sure you keep your ball in the fairway or in the first cut of rough because a wayward shot will be hard to find in the taller/knarly "natural areas."
I'm coming back in August with a group of about 40 guys to play a weekend Ryder Cup tournament and I can't wait. Delaware Springs was our location last year and it was so much fun and in great shape that our group decided to come back for 2016!
Give this course a try and you won't be disappointed!

Play this course because it has a nice lay out and the greens (except #9...will tell you about that in a minute) were really good. The carts were old as all the other reviews said, however, the one I took got me around the course with no problems. The cart paths were also old, rough, etc. as all the other reviews said, however, that didn't deter from a great day of golf in my opinion. Now the staff....that was a different story. Old guys who don't seem too happy about anything (and I'm over 60 years old). I arrived about 20 minutes before my tee time and it wasn't busy at all (Wednesday morning). The guy in shop seemed uninterested in anything except collecting my money. As I was paying he radioed the starter and told him to hold the twosome on #1 because he would be sending a single (me) down to join them. I immediately told him that I wanted to warm up and putt a little before I started my round...that's why I arrived 20 minutes early. He sighed and grabbed the radio and told the starter I wasn't ready yet so send that twosome out. I then started looking for a hat or shirt in the shop and the counter guy told me to make sure not to miss my tee time because they were busy that morning. OK, so I won't spend any money in your shop so I went outside and started my round. The starter was OK but definitely not friendly...he just wanted to see my receipt and get my cart number. I really enjoyed the first 8 holes then on hole #9 the front right portion of the green was a mess! Completely heavily sanded over...very little grass and guess where they had the pin flag? Yep...front, right red flag right in the middle of that screwed up area. 80 percent of that green was good EXCEPT where they put the flag that morning. I saw a marshal on the next hole and asked him if anyone in front of me had said anything about #9's pin placement. He almost totally ignored me and then said a red flag/front pin placement on that green is always tough. I said yeah I agree especially when you have to putt through a sand trap. I'm happy I played the course. The back nine is more challenging with more water hazards and forced carries over trouble to hit the fairways or greens on the two par 3s. Go play this course if you're in the area but don't expect any friendly/happy/helpful staff while you're there!

Staff friendly, nice facilities, and a fun golf course. Several of the greens were not in good shape but I understand it's the time of year for the transition from winter rye to Bermuda so I was OK with the conditions of the greens. The pro shop check-in was fast and very professional. He even asked me if I had played there before and when I told him no he gave me a yardage book...that's great service! I will be back!

Fantastic facility! The course is challenging and in great shape...especially the greens! The facilities (clubhouse, restrooms, snack shop, etc.) are 1st class and just add bonus points to the value of playing this great golf course. My brother and I will return soon!
