I've played Springs over the years since I moved back to Miami from College in 1974. I've given up golf for over 10 years on and off since then. In 2008 I retired and began playing twice a week. My handicap has dropped to single digit 9 and I have seen this course go from very bad to almost great. Over the last 3 - 4 years a new commitment to a great course superintendent has brought Springs back to life where I can safely say it is the best course for your money in Greater Miami. The Staff is great and knowledgeable and the clubhouse keeps improving. I continue to play it every week.

Old Corkscrew is the best golfcourse I have played. In the summer it is the best value for your money in the winter season it can get a little pricey. But you can always find a good rate on Golf Now. The course is fabulous in layout and the greens are true and with the usual undulations we have come to know from a Nicklaus design. The scenery is a walk through the heart of the Everglades. Do not miss it!! Keep it on the fairway and use your Fairway Woods or Long Irons off the tee on some par 4's and 5's.

I have never played a course that I enjoyed so much. I am 63 and was a low handicap player but now a 17 i have lost a lot of distance and this course is just right for me at 6600. Greens in excellent shape and true to breaks. Sand traps fair.Shot a 43 in front nine as i adjusted to the greens, then shot a 39 on back nine, ending with nice birdie on 18.

On two occasions they did not honor the reserved time. I let it go the first time, the second time made me write this poor review. I will never waste my time with this course. They have no concern for their patrons. Pace of play was super slow. I would only recommend this course to beginners who are just starting out.

This course is a great value for the bucks. Greens are in good/excellent shape and fairways are good. The challenging sand dunes and hazards are unique and pose a nice change of pace from water. Letting you hit more long shots.

Since they hired a new groundskeeper, this course is the best value for the money in Miami. The greens are excellent and the fairways are in great shape. A good challenge, and great food.
