Good Course, Poor Staff

BRCC is a well maintained, semi-challenging golf course. The range is Irons only, old golf balls, and has mats for hitting stalls. The pace of play is very slow, especially on tuesdays and thursdays during women's leagues. The staff at BRCC, however, is incredibly nasty and rude (with the exception of the starter who is one of the best I haven ever known). From the grouch in the pro shop who only treats you with respect when convenient for him, to the assistant pro who brings the GM out to yell at you if you forget to replace a single divot, the staff is one pif the worst in the northern NJ area.

Bottom line, this is a nice course at a reasonable price, however be prepared to deal with a sub-par staff.

Cons:

Flanders Valley Golf course is an average golf course, for an average price. Nothing is spectacular and nothing is poor. This course is recommended for anyone who just wants to get out and play golf, but is not looking for anything fancy or challenging.

WOW!

I play between 20-30 public courses a year, and mansion ridge is one of the if not the best public golf course I have ever played. A challenging, yet fair course, at a reasonable price, is manacured to perfection, and is perfect for any golfer. This course if long, with many force carries, and the greens roll quick, but they are fair. The only complaints I have is that the traps were in terrible shape, and that the range was short and could use updated golf balls.

I would recommend this course to any and every player. If you are in the area, make sure that you make your way to mansion ridge.

Bad value, even for 25 bucks.

You're not expecting much when you book a tee time for $25, however, you should expect more then the meadows golf course provides. This course should change their name because the name "meadows" implies that there is grass, something in which this course is lacking. Dirt tee boxes and fairways however, only scratch the surface for this place in which I will not even call a golf course. Sandless traps and golf carts from the 1980's don't help its cause either. Divots on the green and the terrible place of play round out the list of complaints.

Weather you are a beginner, intermediate or scratch golfer, the meadows golf course is NOT the course for you. Spend your money elsewhere.
