East at Orangebrook Country Club

The staff seems to be overwhelmed with COVID, got to the course 30 minutes early to check in and hit balls but was told that I am too early. Tried to explain and the guy (Pete) behind the desk asked to come back in 20 minutes. Our playing partners had the same experience as they arrived an hour early to rent clubs and hit balls.
It’s not a terrible deal for the price point but would rather play other local courses.

Course is in great shape, all the tee boxes are level and greens are rolling well.

You wouldn’t think it was a city owned course, the greens are in great shape. Tee boxes are all level and full of grass. Bunkers are turned over daily and you can actually play out of them.

The course is always in great condition, I have played this course a few times now and the weekends are filled with many slow older golfers. The North course seems to keep a better pace of play on the weekends, it took 5 hours for the round with a group or two waiting to tee off on each hole.

It was a great course, the pro tips were helpful. It hadn't rained for over a week when my group played, fairways were firm. This is going to become a regular in our Thursday night golf rotation.

Red at Hickory Ridge Golf Course

Played early in the morning after the 4th of July, had the course to ourselves. The greens and fairways were in average shape, lots of bugs.
Ridgeview Golf Course

Played after a members tournament, greens had a lot of ball marks which is unusual for the course. 3rd time this year that the round had taken 3 hours or less to complete.
Yarrow Golf Course

The course has large greens with many elevation changes throughout the holes. Beautiful scenery and enough tee boxes for any level of player. Three very slow groups went off ahead of us, round took 4.5 hours but could have been accomplished in around 3.5. I will play here again!

The course has a lot of terrain changes and a good test for any golfer. The pro tips allow you to navigate the holes and receive some member bounces!
