I played the course for my first time while on vacation. I was very impressed with the condition of the course. The tee boxes were like plush carpet and the greenS were fast but true. It is not a very difficult course but it was enjoyable to play. The value for the price is exceptional.. I will play this course again whenever I am back home for a visit.

Played the course for the first time. It was an enjoyable experience but not one I could afford on a regular basis. It is challenging with some great views of Lake Michigan but I have played better courses for less money in Florida and South Carolina. $$$$$

Great course to play for the money. Rated in the top 15 Public courses in Virginia. Super nice folks in the Pro Shop.. The greens are in excellent condition but the bunkers need some real sand.
Tee boxes for all skill levels.
It is a real player friendly course with its share of challenging holes for an 82 year old golfer

Golf carts are sanitized daily after use and again daily before use in compliance with COVI-D-19 PRECAUTIONS

Hobbs Hole Golf Course continues to be maintained in excellent condition. The greens are fast and the pace of play is excellent even on the weekends. The staff is fantastic.

Great staff.
Bunkers need real sand. (I know, keep out of them)
Eating facility is too expensive.

The Greens are in fantastic shape but waiting for some warm weather for the dormant fairways to come back in.

The sand bunkers (all) are in desperate need of attention. Many of them have a serious drainage problem (none) and all are in desperate need of real sand.. There is standing water for several days in some for several days and when the water is pumped out there is mud. It may be beneficial if some of the bunkers were converted to grass bunkers rather than sand.
A hard packed bunker is vary difficult to hit a ball out.

Sure would be nice if there was some real sand in the bunkers.

The greens are in fantastic condition but the fairways have gone dormant for the winter.
