I know Golf Advisor will probably filter this review (because they filtered my negative review of this course last year). I swore to myself I'd never return to Timberview, but ended up returning because there wasn't much else available. I regret going. The course is just in terrible shape. There are dirt patches on the greens as well as an unbelievable amount of brown spots. The weeds grow rampant all over the course. It is frustrating because it really could be a decent course, but it is borderline unplayable. Not a single putt rolled true.

They also ran out of carts, so I was unable to get on the course at my tee time. I was supposed to go off at noon, but a cart wasn't available until 12:45. Yes, I waited 45 minutes after my tee time to even get a cart.
Safe to say I really won't be returning to Timberview ever again

I used to love this course. As a matter of fact, I played it almost 30 times last year. However this year, it is in bad shape. There are weeds and dandelions on most of the fairways. The grass in the fairways is thin and unkept. It's disappointing to see. The one bright spot is the greens. They roll nicely, but overall the course is in bad shape.

This place is one of my favorite courses I've ever played. For anyone in Columbus, you must make the trip down 23 and play.

I really want to like Buck Ridge. It has some fun holes and a lot of potential. However, it is not taken care of. The greens are some of the worst I've seen around. And the bunkers.... They just have huge mounds of sand sitting in them. It is well into summer; the bunkers should be done by now.

For less than $15 for 9 holes and a cart, it is a definite value. Pace of play can be slow at times, due to the course being "beginner friendly." It is important to have good awareness while playing this course.... Balls will come out of the sky from anywhere. Don't let that stop you from getting a good deal on a pretty good course.
