My Wife & I had a great day at Remington. The course conditions were good, the greens were fast, and the staff was friendly. We started on time and finished in 3hrs 45min. We were glad that we were joined by a single who knew the course as it is a little hard to find your way to the next hole at times.

Course was still very wet 4 days after rain. Very challenging. Many tee boxes were not level. Combination of difficulty and cart paths only resulted in 4 hrs 45 min to complete 18 with foursome of experienced players.

When I arrived for my round I noticed that the greens had just been aerated. I spoke to the person at the desk, and she told me the greens are still very playable but she would call another course for me if I want. She got me a tee time at Port Royal. Scott, the Pro, overheard and offered to take me to see the condition up close. We went out to #1 and I saw that the green was a little sandy but still smooth. Scott explained that they would roll a little slower but still very playable. I wasn’t going to get another opportunity to play it, so I decided to play. The course was fantastic and the aeration did not bother me. Had a great time. Thanks Scott. The restaurant also is great.

I enjoyed this course very much. The greens are a little bumpy due to aeration, but better than most of the courses I play in NJ. The layout is very fair but challenging. Some holes provide great views of the sound and all are aesthetically pleasing. The one thing that really detracted from my day was the cart path only rule. I think it was unnecessary and very annoying. It results in slower play and aggravation. The staff was very friendly and we had a good meal afterwards. Thank you for a great time.

I enjoyed this course more than any I have played in 33 years of golfing. The pace was slow, about 4 1/2 hours. The Marshall approached very politely and asked us to pick up the pace on the 10th hole. I told him we are waiting on every hole since the 3rd due to a foursome a couple groups ahead that was taking a lot of pictures. I can’t say I blame them. The beauty of this place is stunning! The layout is challenging but fair. Course condition is great. The staff was very professional and friendly. Totally enjoyed the round and then had a nice meal at the restaurant. Best day ever!! If this course doesn’t make you happy, give up the game or get some therapy.
