I have played this course several times and I love the layout. I could tell they aerated the greens a few weeks ago and most of them have come back nicely. The greens were a little slow probably due to this though. The first issue came as I stepped on the 6th tee. I look down the fairway and see a flag in the middle of the fairway and none on the green. After I hit my drive I see the sign saying the green was in rough shape so they have a temporary flag. They did not cut the fairway differently just put a few ropes around an area they considered to be green. The sign also said just try 1 putt and pick it up. This in itself is not an issue, just the fact no one mentioned it in the clubhouse. It seems like a fairly important thing that patrons may want to know. My other issue comes with the 18th hole. A challenging hole that demands a good tee shot and a second shot of 130 yards plus over water. I guess this was too hard, so they took the front part of the putting green and made it an alternative hole for whoever does not want to hit over water. I think just instituting a local rule that if your approach shot goes in the water you take a drop on the other side of the lake would have been just fine, but I am not the GM. Overall, this course could be better, but it could also be a lot worse. Hopefully, my next round will not see it the latter.

I played this course with a friend this past weekend. We started on time as a 2-some and did not feel rushed from the back and were not on top of the group in front of us, so that allowed the round to flow very nicely. It seemed the course was putting on a tournament that day as some of the pin placements were in peculiar spots, which made birdies hard to come by. Overall it was a good round in right around 4 hours. Could not ask for more.

For the price you play here compared to others in the area, I expect a little more out of the course than what I got this day. The greens ran smoothly for the most part but when dead in places. The fairways had little to no grass on them. Along with being wet, this was not a great combination. I have played here several times and will be back, but I just expect more from my experience.

As a side note, we were first off this given morning. As a twosome, we made the turn in just over an hour. As we are standing on the 13th tee, about 7-8 golf carts start coming down the fairway. We wait for them to stop on the tee box behind us and we tee off. They mention some of their group was ahead of us on the 14th. So our 2-2.5 hour round turned into just over 3 because we had to wait on every shot for the last 5 holes. Poor planning on the staff's part to throw a large group on the back nine.

I have played this course several times now and it is always a fun track. This time around the fairways were a tad bit rough. They appeared to be a bit tore up from either overseeding or just the amount of water locally recently. Greens were quick and firm, just like I like them. So overall had a great time. Playing again in a few weeks and hopefully is in a bit better shape.

I have played this course several times and it never disappoints. It requires you to play smart and not just bomb it away. If that is not your style, then this is not the course for you. Greens were a tad bit inconsistent and had a few spots that were burned out a little on the edges. Beyond that, I can not complain. I will be back very soon.

I have played this course before and it is a must-play in the area. Greens are always in great condition and roll true. Lots of bunkers throughout the course and a few holes have some water that will come into play too. It gives you the ability to tee it high and let it fly or lay back and attack from the fairway. I will definitely play here again.

Being a local to north lake county, this course is a regular on my schedule. It is always in great condition and greens are pristine. The only complaint I have is with the 7th hole, Par 5. I could tell it had taken some water, so they moved the tees to around 90-120 yards. The sign by the tee box said hole was open but directions were not good. Our playing partner almost cut through someone’s yard, but we went to the green and worked our way back that way. It could have been mentioned at check-in, so we were expecting it when the time came. Beyond that slight glitch, I just wish they moved the tee times back slightly. We had a 7:10am, but we got started a little later due to daylight issues. Luckily not a big deal, but could have backed up quick if we were playing slow.

Let me start by saying this was the first time I have played this course, even though I have played the other Disney courses a handful of times each. The staff was very friendly and helpful checking in, on the course, and after the round. The putting/chipping green near the first tee was very large but only had 5 holes cut. Would potentially like to see more holes or even the golf ball sized training holes cut here to provide more dynamic looks before the round. The layout of the course is nice. Definitely, have to be accurate and keep the ball in play. Only a few holes allow for mistakes with water and trees coming into play on almost every driving hole. The greens were challenging to read and quite quick if not in the correct locations. The only critic and warning I have about the course would be that due to the nature of its location, between several Disney resorts. Depending on the time of the day, you can have some loud background noise or delays for transportation boats passing on some of the holes. Overall this is a good course, but as a local, I might steer clear as it has the feel of a typical resort course.

This course never disappoints. From the great practice facility to off course amenities with the restraunt on site. It starts with the greens that were in pristine condition and were running true all day. Receptive on approach shots and challenging on chips when left in the wrong spot. This is a course where you must be on or it will be a long day. Being in play is a must and sometimes that means taking less club off the tee and finding a fairway. I found out the hard way several times during the round. I will definitely be back here again in the near future. Management, keep up the good work.

It is always nice when you are the first one on the golf course in the morning. Even when you go to check in and can't find the staff. But eventually, he strolled in and allowed me to go out early since I was a single. The course played tougher than usual with heavy winds and fast, firm greens. So I make the turn after about an hour. Tee off on the 10th and get stopped by the starter in the fairway. He questions how I got out on the course and then told me to play faster because the owner was teeing off 10 and didn't want anyone in front of him. By the time I teed off on the 12th I never saw him again, go figure. As I finished my round the starter came back up to me and told me he only questioned me because they didn't think anyone could play the front 9 in an hour. I left and do not think I will return. With all that said, the course is in good shape and greens ran pretty true, but there are several courses in the area I can play and not be harassed. If this is how you want to treat patrons, then it is not for me. Good luck and hope your customer service improves in the future.

I decided to give this course another try after a lackluster round late last year. I will say, the course was not as wet, but the conditions were still not ideal. The greens were a little slow and fairways were not the best either. It was difficult to get a true feeling for the short shots as firmness and speed were very inconsistent throughout the course. Overall, a good location and fun course to play, just not what it use to be.

I made the 45 minute trek to play this course on a holiday. It started off rough with tee times being pushed back due to darkness. Once we got started, about 15 minutes late, the pace was good. Probably around 3 1/2 hours. The layout was not difficult, but the greens are a bit tricky. Some were a bit wet and slow for that reason, but others were firm and fast. Tough to gauge the speed from hole to hole. Definitely a good course if you are in the Disney, Clermont, Championsgate area. Just not worth the drive to me.

It has been a few years since I have played this course and man it is a great course. It is a solid layout that allows for you to work the ball both directions. Water comes into play on a few holes, but for the most part is fairly open. More trees and bunkers will come into play on drives and approach shots. Greens were in excellent condition, not lightning fast, but ran true. This is a must play course in the Orlando area.

I love playing this course every time I get the chance. Tee time was early and first few holes were played in some dense fog, so hard to track the ball. After that the course was nearly perfect. Does not require extreme precision off the tee, but you can get into trouble quick. Got out of position on a few holes, but course still leaves you options to salvage your round. Practice facility as always is top notch, but they would not let us on there when we arrived, since it was dark. It left us feeling slightly rushed before out tee time, but we managed.

I have played North Shore several times over the years. It never disappoints. Course has a good layout, a few challenging holes, but not too difficult. Greens were almost perfect, rolled true and fast. If you have not played here, it is worth the drive.

This is my second time playing this course. I always expect a challenge when showing up on the first tee and it never disappoints. Greens are challenging, fast, and roll pretty well. Fairways could use some work in places, some real wet areas around the course. Some of the fairway bunkers had been washed out due to a lot of rain in past few months. Overall great day of golf that keeps you on your toes.

I will start this by saying I have not played Metrowest in awhile. I have played this course several times including a U.S. Open qualifier when it was in its glory days. I will start by saying the driving range was in decent shape, but they do not have a chipping area. The sole putting green is marked for no chipping so that was a bummer not to get at least a few shots in around the green. As we played through the round, which was a 7:50 tee time, we had to dodge super sprinklers on several holes just off the fairway which was surprising as other areas of the course were so wet that I lost a ball in the middle of the fairway. On another hole, my ball plugged near the face of a bunker, as I tried to play my shot, the bunker collapsed and I had to jump in to avoid falling. The course did not have any water coolers on any holes, just the clubhouse before the round or on the turn. Extremely disappointing to see the course like this, but hopefully the new management can make improvements. This course use to be an A++, definitely not that right now.

Played this course with a buddy and got paired with another twosome. I have played the course before, but it has been awhile. The layout allows you to work the ball either way and provides some challenging shots. Has a lot of trouble that comes into play off the tee and around the greens. Had some rain the days prior, so the course was a tad bit wet on some holes. Almost lost a ball in the fairway that plugged with a hybrid hit about 230. Overall great course, just make sure to keep it in play or it will be a long day.

I have played this course a few times before and it is a challenge. They have a wonderful practice facility with a large driving range, large chipping and bunker practice area, and large putting green on the opposite side of the clubhouse. I am a scratch golfer and played the black tees, about 6100 yards, but plays much longer. There are not a lot of holes to just grab driver and let 'er rip with bunkers, hazards, and narrow fairways. I hit a lot of 3-woods and hybrids off the tee to try to play smart and still left myself 150+ into greens. The greens had recently been aerated, so they used the par aid 15" holes, which really helped pace of play. If you are a local or someone visiting the area this course is definitely one to add to your list.
