Indiana Jewel keeps its Glitz on!

Most folks in Indiana know about Otter Creek due to its history of hosting some big state events. The course has some great history and my suggestion to you is to head to Columbus and make some of your own. The condition at the course was world class! Fairways and Greens were perfect and the rough was as it should be, rough! The staff was outstanding and the hospitality was true “Hoosier”!
Make the trip, enjoy the day and it will be one to remember!

Tough but fair

Papiish was a treat. Tough greens, fast and firm. You have to know this to play the course well. Interesting par five combos. Lots of variables in how to attack them.
Great staff, friendly and very helpful. Micheal at the bag drop was a true peach.
I would Play this time and again.

Tale if two nines!

Biltmore Links course is really a true Tale if two Nines. Front nine is sort of pedestrian in its layout and hole design. Short par fours and threes give you a little sense of an exec style course. Make the turn and get ready for some great holes, testy Little par threes and fours and some beautiful views of the surrounding area.
Great staff in the shop and Cliff the starter was very helpful and really chipper!
They might have a little better communication at the bag drop and load as we had to ask about when and where to go to start. Other then that a great track and decent value for winter golf in the area. Definitely would play again.

King of the North!

The Myrtle Beach area, also referred to as the Grand Strand has three distinct areas. The South Strand, Myrtle Beach "proper" and the North Strand. All three with great courses. But I can tell you the King of the North is surely The Thistle! A 27 hole layout with everything you want in a course. Great layout, challenging holes, green complexes that reward a good shot and penalize a bad one. When you arrrive you will walk into the very best clubhouse in the area and a more than friendly staff. Make sure to take the time to visit the veranda and enjoy the view. Then get ready for a treat! Make this course a "Must Play" when you visit the Golf Capital of the World!

On your way in or on your way out!

This course is a must play on your next adventure to the Sandhills. Great elevation changes, challenging green complexes, and all you want from any tee box.
The par threes keep your attention while the par fives just invite you to take a chance.
The staff is great, friendly and helpful.
Spend a minute in the back deck or putting green for a great view of the course.

Seems like and old friend!

The course is grand old dame! Great layout atypical Sandhills design, plenty of pines, sand and just enough water to keep your attention.

Local rains had the fairways and greens a bit fuzzy but still played fair. The par threes are all you want and hole #4 is a world class par 4.

Shop staff was helpful and very friendly, offered some course tips that payed off too!

Make this a stop on your next trip to the area.

Sneaky little gem!

This course looks pretty benign on paper! Not so...it will sneak up on you with its length, tough approach shots and shuttle greens.
Don't take that as a warning, just know your game and if you play the right tee boxes it can be a blast!
Beautiful layout and plenty of elevation changes
To keep your interest.
Great staff, friendly and helpful
Will definitely be back.

Beauty & the Beast

Great layout, scenery was spectacular and the layout matched that. Difficult par 3's, the par 4's make you think and the par 5's gettable!

Greens are in transition to summer Bermuda but still rolled true.

Make this a stop on your way to the island

Venerable old friend!

Played this course 26 years ago on my first ever trip to Myrtle Beach. It was fun then and it was fun today! Nice layout, easy to get around and just enough of the Old Myrtle Beach golf course layout to keep your attention.
Extremely friendly staff, both inside and out. Lot's of local players, and they are more than willing to share their course with all comers. Make it a stop on your next trip for a tune-up before you play the $100+ courses.
make sure you stay for a drink or two in the clubhouse and enjoy the staff!!

Great course.....awful playera

It's no wonder golf has a pace of play issue. 55 minutes to play to first nine and then 65 minutes to play 4 holes on the second nine!!!!!

Guys if you just have to play a fivesome at least make sure somebody in your group knows how to play GOLF!

Love the course, great staff, excellent facilities and a real challenge.

Sure hope a fivesome is not the norm!!

Grand Strand Sleeper!

I have had the chance to play all the Grand Strand courses over the years and Eastport has always been one of the "Sleeper" courses. Tight fairways, challenging greens and plenty of sand. This round was no different. Played as a single and the starter made sure i got out ahead of a large group and gave me some good course info. Make sure you add this course to your list of must plays when in the MYB area.
