I play a round at Cave Creek every November on Vacation. This year the course was in much better shape. They cleared out all the trees and shrubs in the canyon. Much more appealing and you might be able to find a ball if you hit one there. Greens rolled true and were a perfect speed. Well Done City of Phoenix!

Second time playing Three Rivers. First time was just after greens punched. I like the layout. Course was in pretty good condition. Greens rolled smoothly. Pace of play was a bit slow, but not terrible. Definitely a good value.

Corte Bella is a nice course in a 55+ community. There are houses on the course but generally they are pretty far away from the fairway. Course was in good shape. Only complaint was there were some rocks in the sand traps. Staff was friendly and I got members discount in the pro shop. Would definitely repeat.

Had an 11 30 tee time. Course was wide open when I checked in so went to the first tee. Cart path only but the fairways are pretty narrow so not much extra walking. Greens were a bit slow, but rolled well. Fairways in good shape, rough not so much. Staff was friendly but on a 90 degree day, I was disappointed that there was no beverage cart. I would play here again.

Bought some new irons last week and decided to hit Colwood to try to dial in the distances. It's my first trip to Colwood since the renovation into a 9 hole par three course. There are some interesting holes in the layout and I like the concept of blue and white tees along with blue and white pin placements. Good Variety there. I am not a fan of the mounds that are on every green. Makes putting more of a miniature golf experience than a place to practice putting. Having to wait for the foot golfers to clear the fairways was also annoying.

Played Bear Creek on a Saturday Morning. The staff was very friendly, especially the starter. Course was in good shape, Greens were not as fast as the practice green. Distances were well marked with both stakes and sprinkler heads.

Normally I wont play at Kierland because of the cost, but got a really good deal on Golf Now. Couse was in good shape overall and was a challenge for me from the copper tees as I am not a big hitter. Fairways are generous and the greens were in good shape and rolled well. Greens are heavily guarded with sand traps. Highlight of the round was standing over a birdie putt while a bagpiper was playing at sunset.

Played a round at Legend this week. The course was in good shape for the most part. Greens were a bit slow for my liking but that wasn't the main reason for my lousy putting. I liked the layout. There weren't many holes that seemed the same. Paired up with a couple of friendly retired gentlemen which made the experience good as well. I would definitely play here again.

Played a 2 hour nine on a Monday mid day. Course was in very good shape. Greens had been punched a couple of weeks ago but no effect on play. Pro shop attendant was friendly and helpful.
