The course has 3 nines and all play about the same. Golfers need to hit the ball well to score - lots of forced carries and doglegs. The grass used for the greens does not grow in the winter; they dye the grass green and roll the greens daily, resulting in fast but true greens. The pace of play was just over 4 hours.

This is a 27-hole layout with a decent range, chipping area, and putting green. Interesting layout including force carries, dog legs, and a good mixture of par 3, 4, and 5 holes. The pace of play was around 4 hours. Greens are interesting as grass goes dormant in the winter, dyed, and rolled making for fast putting.

Good greens and pace of play. Somewhat challenging and fair layout.

Although a bit pricey, Oyster Reef is a quality layout with good conditions. Pace of play 4:20. seven.

We have played here about 6 times over the last few months. We enjoy the layout, conditions, and pace of play.Will return.

The conditions are much improved. If you have not played this year you might be surprised by the speed of the greens.

We have played this course this the last three winters. It is always in pretty good shape, the pace of play is good, and if you pay after noon the price is reasonable.

We have played Old South many times over the years. The price is usually reasonable (for HHI) and course conditions are better than other courses costing much more.

We play this course whenever we travel to HHI (3-4 times a year). Compared to other courses in the area, Old South is a better value and in better condition than many. This time the pace of play was slow but that is unusual.

In comparison to other area public courses, Old South is above average.

When visiting HHI we almost always play here. Good layout, conditions and value. Better than many courses on the Island.

Some of the tee boxes were beat up and fairways had no overseading. Greens fast and true.

Although I did not play well I enjoyed the course. Lots of water and seems to play longer than 6150 from blue tees. Not forgiving. Good pace of play.

This is the second time we played here. Near Clearwater Beach so it tends to get a lot of play. Good enough if you’re looking for something close by and they have decent push carts if you a
don’t want to ride.

Have played here a half-dozen or so times over the last few years. Good layout, conditions and value, especially in comparison to courses on the Island.

Greens were not smooth and many of the holes seem squeezed in between houses. Too long from blue and too short from white tees. Pace of play VG.

A good course with decent layout and conditions. About a 30 minute drive from Dunedin but worth it.
