Great Bang For Your Bucks

played the Winged Foot and Thunderbird nines. Staff was very friendly and the course and the range were in very good shape. Greens rolled fast and true, fairways did not have any bare spots and overall condition of the course was very good. Played as a twosome and the starter gave us the choice of starting on the Winged Foot nine, which was stacked with foursomes, or going off on the Thunderbird nine since it wasn't crowded. We finished our front 9 on Thunderbird in an hour and a half. Grabbed a hot dog and drink at the turn then the starter gave us the option of playing the Rolling Hills nine, which was stacked up with foursomes or continuing on Winged Foot, which wasn't. We opted for that and finished that nine in one and a half hours. A 3 hour round in 93 degree heat was worth every penny. We really appreciated the marshal showing the flexibility of their 3 nines to us. We will definitely go back and play Panorama Village again. Great value for the experience.

A Breeze

Played this summer with my son. The constant breeze from the Gulf of Mexico helped keep us from overheating, which made the round more enjoyable. Great course design and the course is kept in excellent shape. Fairways and tee boxes are immaculate and the greens rolled true. There's a good diversity to the hole designs and most of the fairways are generous allowing plenty of room for high handicappers (and room when the wind re-directs your ball). Friendly staff and excellent practice facilities also. Loved playing there and would recommend the course to anyone especially during the usual blistering hot summer months in the Houston area.

Still A Fun Course

The course is in great shape and is still a very fun round of golf. Each hole presents a different challenge since they are replicas of famous holes from around the USA. The variety of hole designs and the ability to play holes you've seen on TV for years adds to the enjoyment of the round. The staff is cordial and the pace of play was normal for 18 holes.

I'll continue to go back and play this course in the future as it is unlike any other in the Houston area.

Solid Design

Wildcat Highlands is a very good design that's fun to play since there is a bit of elevation change, something rare in Houston. The course is kept in very good condition and is playable for all levels of golfers. Wind is a factor as it's built on top of an old waste ground. Since there are few trees the wind affects your shots, which adds to the challenge of the course.

Worth the drive

Worth the drive to get there. The 3 nines offer a wide variety of interesting holes that are both fair & fun to play. Practice facilities are ample & the new enclosed area by the food stand is great. Maintenance is usually excellent and I especially like their greens. They will hold mid-iron approach shots and, though usually on the quick side, they roll very true. All in all, one of the best courses in Houston area for the money.
