Beautiful layout, good condition, and an amazing staff. Pace of play was slow, a course marshal wouldve been nice, but aside from that a really enjoyable round.

With regard to pace of play we track this using our GPS system and are showing an average of 4:09 for the day. There were a couple groups logged at 4:33 that teed off just after 1PM so if your tee time was just after 1PM then you may have experienced a round a little behind our target pace and we apologize for that.
We do not have course marshals circling the course and simply send them out to intervene when our GPS system alerts us to a pace of play problem beginning to occur. This is why you did not see them, they were there but they try to stay off the course and out of the way as much as possible.

The course was at an all time low about 5 yrs ago, but they've done improvements slowly every year since and its now much better. The greens, while slow, are in very good shape. The course layout is tight, its forces you to hit it straight on virtually every hole or risk serious trouble. Perfect course to play if you're looking to hone in on accuracy especially off the tee.

Considering the price I paid for 2 rounds for my son and myself ($19 ea after tax) it was relatively worth it. Being new to this area of the country, we are in shock over the costs of a round of golf here given the conditions of the courses we've seen so far. At first look, I was upset with how slow the greens were (couldn't have been higher than a 9 on the stimpmeter...used to closer to 11 or 12) but apparently it's like that on most courses around here as well. Also, there was something wrong with the greens. "Patchy" in most areas of them it the ball bumped around, requiring us to use a "2 putt" rule...yes, it was that bad!!! I will NEVER pay regular price for a round of golf around this area unless it's a championship course no higher than $65...too many other places around the country with better value!!! However, as much as I like to play, for a price like I received here, I can overlook less than par greens for a round every other week or so...
