San Ignacio Golf Club
Played On 06/08/2018Considering the heat, the course was in great shape. Greens had been airated but were filling in nicely. Most scenic course in Green Valley, my opinion, would recommend this course to fellow golfers.
Tubac Golf Resort - Rancho/Otero
Played On 06/06/2018Tubac Golf Resort was in transition from winter grass to summer grass. Greens were punched with lots of sand making putting an impossible. I think they should have closed the course for a week until it was playable. They have 3 -9 holes courses to choose from. My foursome wasn’t impressed with the condition of the course, might play later but not anytime soon.
Rio Rico Golf Club
Played On 03/17/2018I heard that this course was one of the finest in the Southern Arizona areas. That was then this is now, I hate to give it a crappy review but you might as well save your money. The fairways are akin to a farmers field the greens are “green” but bumpy and need lots of work. I feel for the current owners but they need major investors to bring this course up to its past glory.
Torres Blancas Golf Club
Played On 03/11/2018Course is in great shape. Great value for the time of day. Teed off around 1 o’clock cloudy day cool weather helped. Scenic Santa Rita Mountains in the distance was a bonus. I would recommend Torres Blanca to my friends and anyone else who loves to golf in Green Valley.
San Pedro Golf Course
Played On 03/03/2018San Pedro
Staff in the Pro Shop was really helpful and accommodating. I booked 2 separate twosome Hot Deals through Golf Now, 1 at 11:24 and 1 at 12:04. We arrived quiet early in the chance we could somehow play together as a foursome. I explained our situation to the lovely lady who was working in the Pro Shop at the time and without a blink of an eye she agreed to not only my request to tee off as a foursome but even allowed us to tee off earlier than our first twosome. The course was in great shape, the greens were very fast and mostly true. I made some very long putts and a few 1 putts thrown in for good measure. Kudos to San Pedro for helping us out and although the course is an hour drive from Green Valley , it’s well worth the effort. The mountain scenery in the distance is a bonus.

Played at 1:00 pm on a Saturday. Last minute deal on Gold Now, great value for the money. Teed off as a twosome pace of play was slow, but the weather was awesome. Fairways and greens were in great shape no complaints there. Cold beer from Cart Girl went down real smooth.
Kino Springs Golf Course
Played On 02/10/2018Kino Springs
Considering the dry spell we have had in southern Arizona, and particularly the Nogales area. The Kino Springs golf course was overall in great shape. The greens were lightning fast, with some nasty pin placements throw in for go measure. Unfortunately the wind picked up later in the day which is common for the area. Overall the mountainous scenery is breathtaking and makes playing or loosing a ball or two more easy to take.
San Pedro Golf Course

Great Course, played it a few times. Conditions were acceptable fairways were very green and mostly dry( not soggy from over watering) Greens were firm with few patchy spots, putts were mostly true to line. Overall course was in great, playable condition for this time of year. Finally drove my ball over the water hazard from the 18th tee. Would recommend this course to friends and other golfers.

Course was in great shape after over seeding had taken place. Greens were very firm, could have used more softening up. Approach shots didn't hold very well, but in all the putts were mostly true. Will be back sooner than later. Very picturesque course, with Santa Rita Mtns as a distant backdrop not hard to really appreciate the beauty of Southern Arizona.
Sewailo Golf Club
Played On 08/07/2017Great Course
This course is in excellent shape. They have benefited from the Monsoons. Greens were like velvet not hard as a rock or rough like some greens in transition to a summer grass. Anyway if you want a great challenging bang for your buck, this is the course. BTW great scenery of the surrounding mountains.
Tubac Golf Resort - Rancho/Otero
Played On 06/02/2017Greens
Overall course was in great in great shape. The greens had recently been punched. Putting was a bit on the bumpy side, but overall this wasn't to bad after adjusting to these conditions. We got a good bang for the $$$$$. Hope to play it again.
Haven at Haven Public Golf Club
Played On 05/22/2017Great layout with wide fairways.
I've played Haven G.C. many times. Many snowbirders have left for the season. I'm a full time resident of Green Valley Az. So now the green fees are very reasonable, the course is still in great shape considering the hot weather now and hotter days to come.
