A disappointment. Grass is very average. You play next to the highway and houses on the first nine. A lot of construction. Greens average. Overall Phoenician is very average and the price high. If you pay more than $45 a round, you are overpaying. I can think of 20 courses in the area better than this one with prices much more reasonable.

We are from South Carolina and have been in
Scottsdale at a VRBO for six weeks. Have played golf 5X a week at different golf courses. Wicke burg is the best in the area. Worth the drive. We have never taken the time to write a review but couldn’t pass up the chance for others to know how great it is.

With so many other options, this is not worth the visit, Low class all the way. We waited on every hole for a three-some and the course had no ranger to manage play. What a shame, when the entire course is empty and some "clods" don't have enough sense to let faster players through. Won't be back
