Mamala Bay Golf Course
Played On 11/19/2019another day in paradise
Yesterday weather was suppose to be thunderstorm thru out the day. Early in the morning driving to the golfcourse the weather raining hard but when I got to the golf course the rain had stopped. The sun cam out with the blue skies and my golf outing started with 9 other golfers. The weather was hot and humid because their was only a little wind blowing but golfing under blue skies is so refreshing. The course is well kept and even after a heavy rainfall the grounds was still very playable. I could not even tell it rained an hour prior at the course. The fairways and greens are well kept. The kiawe trees outling the course is so awesome looking with oleander bushes in between. These are really local trees and plants that is grown all over the islands of Hawaii. The staff are super friendly and nice. This golf course was built in 1965 but as a youngster I used to fish at this location before the golf course was built so I have fond memories of the area. Now I can enjoy golfing and looking at the ocean where I used to catch crabs and fish years ago. Now i can enjoy the golf course. I look forward every time I get to golf at mamala golf course.
