Deer Run is a moderately priced golf course compared to the others in the area with few golfers at anyone time on the course. We hadn't played the course in many years when it was more of a cow pasture. They've really improved the first nine holes and added a great back nine. The fairways and rough are of similar grasses with the fairways well cut to distinguish the two. The small greens are cut short and are quick with some undulations. The back nine has some spectacular holes with challenging tee shots from the whites and blues. The club house is nothing to write about except the staff is very friendly and willing to help.

Great course in cottage country. Holes are uniquely challenging providing enough fairway room to hit a ball off center. This year the greens aren't up to the usual standards. Much winter kill. But enjoy playing there when the price is right.
