Played the course today it started out great then it got hot as the day went on it wouldn’t have been so bad but the group in front of us were playing so slow. We even stopped let them get a full hole ahead of us and we still caught them. The grass needs to be trimmed when you hit a drive straight down the fairway see if hit and know it’s there but when you ride up to it you can’t find it because the grass has swallowed the ball.

There need to be more signs out on the course where to go or paint a line on the cart path which way to go to each hole because is difficult to figure out where to go. We get to the turn and go to the club house to get a drink because it’s so hot out and it was closed even though it was supposed to open at 11am you can goto the window in the front where you check in to get a drink.

We took a long time getting drinks we tees off at 10 went to hit our second shot and the group of guy were still on the green at 10 they should have been on 12 and now we had a group of guys behind us. We got to 15 I think it’s a short par 3 all three guys had there ball retriever. poles out digging ball out of the weeds they took there sweet time very rude let people move ahead if your messing around.

Over all the course is nice like I mentioned the fairways need trimmed lots of trees and very narrow and tight. The greens are nice sizes some with lots of left and right and up and down movements. $35 with a cart great price. Will return hopefully they will get the grill back open and serve some food and drinks.

My son and I made a reservation online tuesday evening the website is great, I keep forgetting to click on add a cart the prices shown are for walking. The course is in great shape the fairways look great as well nice and green in a lot of spots, the only problem I guess I have is the tall grass on some of the holes if you hit your ball in there forget it you aint finding it. I hit a super bright red and a yellow ball the red ball I lost in the grass just off the sand trap and the yellow one I lost int eh tap grass. over all the course is great.! We will return just wish they would have some specials during the week.

I really enjoy playing here there’s just one issue on a few holes you can’t ride the golf cart on, the one that is t h e worst is 18 they need to change the cart path and put it down on the flat surface instead of on the hill. Handicap people like myself it’s very difficult to walk up and down after each hit. It would be fine if I could drive on the course on the far side by the lake or straight up the middle. It’s becuase of holes like that at this course that I can’t play here as much as I would like. Great course other than that though.

Well it’s been 6+ weeks since last time we played here and it’s definitely much better than it was. The greens still need some work but the grass on the fairways is a lot better than it’s been in a long time, the tee boxes even look good. There are a few of them(Tee box) that it looks like who ever reseeded was drunk or didn’t know how to drive a tractor. There is nice green grass growing and then a line of weeds.

I play here often the course isn’t that bad years ago when Doc first opened it was a great place even the short par 3 course was awesome to play. The tee boxes, fairways, sand bunkers and greens were in great shape then it’ was sold was good for a while but started going down fast and now Doc is the owner again. Last year he tried his best to get the greens back up this winter he has done a lot of cleaning up cutting down bushes and fixing the tee boxes. I wish he would fix a few of the sand bunkers to give it a little more challenging holes. Once the weather breaks the greens should bounce up the fairways are looking better as well. For only 9 holes it’s not the best but at least we have a place other than Chesapeake to play in Calvert county. It would be great if they could add 9 more holes we need another course in Calvert.

First time playing here this year this course is way over priced unless you can grab a golf deal. Lucky that’s what I got it was $25 on Golfnow. They need to offer a handicap flag, I’m handicapped and there are a ton of hills and all of the extremely hilly holes you can’t drive on the major one is hole 18 it’s a par 5 cart path is at the top of the hill and you have to walk down to the ball and back up to the cart. I don’t understand why the bar isn’t open and the kitchen is closed? If you want to make money open up so people can eat and drink. Probably won’t be back for a long time due to the hilly situation it just to difficult for me to do those hills and it makes playing golf not fun for me! If they start allowing people with handicap to ride one the hard holes.

Played here last week great course!! The grass is well maintained all of the tee boxes have grass they aren’t burn up like a lot of other really nice courses in MD. The greens are also in VERY good condition. Restaurant serves good food the hot dogs are good and they serve alcohol.
