We arrived and had to ask people in the parking lot where to go to check in. When we checked in she asked for more money as we didn’t pay enough despite paying directly with Golfnow. We saw the carts, but no one to start us. Signage was poor for first time players. We skipped one hole as there was a mower in the fairway and someone fixing the green on a par 3. Lots of bare areas and lots of muddy areas. Not sure we’d return or recommend

This is the 5th time I have received a request for a review. I’ve done it twice. If this doesn’t stop the next one is going to junk and we will use another discount golf provider.

Didn’t realize it wasn’t 90 degrees when we made the tee time. My wife struggled to keep up. She usually uses a handicap flag due to heart condition. We’ll come back again when it’s not cart path only
Apache Wells Country Club
Played On 11/13/2020At least the weather was great
We signed up on Golfnow for this course costing us more than the courses rate due to their extra fees. It was a shotgun start with about 90 people all checking in and putting at once. We were the B group starting on #6. At least the starter gave us a sheet with directions to the hole. Following a foursome we waited every shot. The weather was nice and being just a twosome we could take our time with our shots. We did finish before sunset and stopped in the bar/grill for an adult beverage. We decided to return next week, but will book directly with the course this time.

Played On 12/20/2017Fun executive course
We have played this course many times in the past during the w8nter months. Couldn’t pass up the very cheap price. The greens and fairways were in good condition. Some of the ball washers were empty. We did not eat as it was too early for HH and not even certain it was open. Be8ng a high wind day many of the holes were nicely sheltered. Will play again before we leave the area.
Coyote Wash Golf Course
Played On 11/15/2017Seen better days
We haven’t played this course in a few years and we’re very disappointed to see the lack of maintenance to what was once a nice course. When we arrived at the bag drop it was covered with towels. The person moving carts didn’t acknowledge us. We had to put our clubs on our cart. We went to the Pro Shop where we saw a sign telling us to check in at the grill. The tee sheet showed us penciled in at 0900 with a group of 16 around our tee time. We started a few minutes late and had to wait a short time at most holes. The greens were a bit shaggy but not terribly slow. A lot of excess water and big ruts on the cart path. Very little signage, had we not played here before we would have gotten lost.
We finished up about 1:00 and went in to get something to eat and drink and were told it was closing down but if we ordered something easy she’d stay and fix it. We will not return again and will pass the word how much this course has gone downhill. This a quite a drive from Yuma and don’t see how they would attract anything other than local people from Wellton.

It's almost unfair to rate this course in it's present state. The ground is over saturated keeping the carts on cart paths only making for a lot of walking. Had we known the conditions we would never have booked a round. Both had mud encased shoes, legs covered with grass clippings and my waterproof shoes failed the test. It's so wet they haven't been able to cut the rough which is 6-8 inches deep. Staying in the fairway was a must.
Homestead Farms Golf Club
Played On 09/06/2016Pretty, but challenging
This was our second play here and found the hidden water to be a challenge. Greens had lots of unrepaired ball marks and fairways undulating with lots of roll towards the water. We payed 14 holes with no one in our site for more than 4-5 holes. When we teed off on 14 we started to notice 2 groups of walkers and we proceeded to wait every hole until the end. Not sure where they came from. We tried to call the pro shop and no one answered at 5:00. It appears they just walked on the back nine.
Lost Tracks Golf Club
Played On 08/19/2016Extremely slow players
We followed two extremely slow players who would not let us play through. The fellas behind us kept up to us so we felt pushed the whole time. Not a fun round. In 20/20 hindsight we should have gone around them, skipped the par 3 and we would have enjoyed it much more.
Quail Valley Golf Course
Played On 07/17/2016Big difference from 22 years ago!
Played this course 22 years ago before there were trees. What a very pretty course. It was very challenging and for a Sunday pace of play was quite good.
The Greens at Redmond
Played On 07/14/2016Consistently good!
We have been playing this course for many years once or twice a year and it still continues to kick butt! Brought my 15 year old grandson out for the day and he was very surprised how difficult this short course was, but enjoyed it.
Kokopelli Golf Course
Played On 12/07/2015Course in poor shape
Don't remember the course being in this bad a shape several years ago. We chose to ride as my wife recently (4 mo ago) had a total knee replacement and tires easily from walking on uneven ground. The center of the fairways were in OK shape but if your ball rolled a bit it went off the course into ravines. Many of these were very wet and muddy. Many of the par 4 &5's were roped off and this really slowed down play walking back and forth to hit your shots. One trap was so deep my wife needed help to get in and out of it. She will not play this course ever again. The other two-some we were paired with weren't enjoying it much either. One of them packed up her clubs after playing 12 holes and just rode in the cart.
Lake Havasu Golf Club - East Course
Played On 11/29/2015Interesting course with terrific lake views
It was cool and windier than we had planned on so we were not dressed properly. Course was up and down hills with great greens and so-so fairways. If you got off the fairway the grass would hide your ball.We would play it again as it was a great bargain with the "hot deal"
Cathedral Canyon Golf Club
Played On 10/09/2015OK for 101 and over seeded
It was very hot and was disappointed to find that we were cart paths only. Made for a lot of walking and slow play. They over seeded and are trying to grow the grass on the sides, so if you are not in the center of the fairway you'll need lots of balls.
Ahwatukee Country Club
Played On 04/02/2015A bit tired
We booked online and looked at the wonderful pictures of the "Country Club", that is a stretch. The course is quite tired looking and greens in need of work. We followed a slow three-some and we never saw anyone behind us.

Played On 01/23/2015Fun time, awesome lunch beforehand!
First time playing this flat course with trees lining the fairways. Got there early and had the lunch special, probably the best Patty Melt I've ever had and crispy seasoned fries and a iced tea for $6.
We got paired up with another couple our age and they gave us lots of tips to play this course. The driving range is situated between 2 holes, so put your yellow balls in you bag and watch for wayward shots! Played in 4 hours even though we got in some trouble on a few holes. Could easily walk this course. Used Golfnow to book this and saved a big $1.49 each with their new rules and new higher booking fee.
Apache Creek Golf Club
Played On 11/21/2014Fastest 18 holes ever!
Got paired up with 2 "local Canadians" who play this course every day. We pretty much ran the course in less than 3 hours. Would enjoy playing again when we could enjoy it. Read other reviews of the great views- never saw them as we played so fast. Even the twosome behind our foursome didn't wait for us much at all. If our ball went in the desert we picked up and moved on.
