Played On 10/24/2019Course is Great, pace not so much.
This course is an excellent course. I really enjoy playing here. But today was a nightmare. We had to wait EVERY hole because a notoriously slow 4 some in front of us.. Eventually one of our party decided to leave at the 13 hole. The 3 some that was behind us, after waiting several times while we waited and played became a twosome when one of their group left on 14 and we became a 4 some to finish out the round. Needless to say we still ended up waiting to the 18th. A marshall would have solved this but since it was so late in the season none was available.

We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. Normally the pace of play is excellent but today the course overbooked and carts were short which delayed start times. 7 minute tee times backed up everyone. We waited every hole. 3 plus hours for 9. Finally gave up and surrendered after 15. It was almost 5 hours then. I understand they didn't want to disappoint anyone but the result was they dissapointed everyone.

Even though its towards the end of season, the greens were fast and were recently plugged they still ran true.

While some will say its an easy course, you will wonder how you managed to give away strokes on such smooth greens. You will want a rematch!
