Good layout, Bad course conditions

At $80 this place is simply not worth the money whatsoever. Plenty of other courses for less than $50 that are much better than Skylinks.

The tee boxes were mostly fine, so were the greens, but the fairways were just awful. Completely dead, no patches of healthy green anywhere to be found. Straight up barren.

I likely won’t play here again and can’t recommend it.

Top 3 City Course in LA

This place is almost a perfect track and such a gem tucked in the hills of Griffith Park. It’s affordable, long (for a 9 hole), nicely kept, and beautiful.

For starters there is a great pitching and putting practice area that is in great condition. This is also a 9 hole that you can play your full bag since there are many par 4s with challenging layouts for all skill levels. Keep an eye out for views of Griffith Observatory while putting or teeing off.

To finish the cafe by the starter window has great food and beverage options for before or after playing. I have no criticism of this muni course whatsoever.

Great course... at a steep price.

While this isn’t the most expensive 9 holes one could play, it’s definitely close. The course conditions are perfect. Not a single square foot of unkept ground. Creative greens are framed by beautifully laid out bunkers and very playable rough. What they say is true, all the greens break towards the starter window, even if it looks like it doesn’t.

However, at $60ish green fee PLUS a $15 parking fee which they don’t tell you about on Golfnow, you might have a better time playing 18 holes somewhere else.

Bottom line is if you’re looking for a 9 hole link that you’ll definitely have a great time playing and money isn’t a matter, then definitely play this course!

great bang for the buck

good course to play if you want to practice short game, easy bunker shots, and most importantly if you don’t want to tee off of mats. staff is very friendly and despite having many or 3, there are a handful of fun par 4 holes.
